Cook Out Reviews
I hate doing reviews but this one's worth it. The cleanest cookout ive been to in tennessee, nice atmosphere and food is always fresh. Luis is always friendly and attentive.
The food was good and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere, but the ordering experience left me feeling uncomfortable. The gentleman at the register offered very little interaction or assistance when I had questions and mostly just stared at me while I tried to order. I’m not sure what kind of day he may have been having, and I certainly don’t want to be unkind, but the interaction made me feel as though I had done something wrong simply by asking questions. Traveling thru the area and stopped in during lunch rush. Interesting menu. Lines moved fast. I got a spicy chicken sandwich, onion rings, corn dog and large coke. $8.73 total. Fresh food.

Cook Out is a popular restaurant known for its friendly and polite staff. The food is a highlight, with customers raving about their favorite dishes, such as the Cajun chicken and ranch wrap, cheese bites, Cajun fries, and double chocolate milkshake. The menu offers a variety of options, including the chicken strip tray, walking taco, hushpuppies, and cheesecake. The restaurant is praised for its large space, making it suitable for family gatherings, and its welcoming atmosphere. Customers enjoy the energy of the staff, who are always friendly and attentive, ensuring orders are well done and crispy when requested. The milkshake flavors, especially the cheesecake milkshakes with real cheesecake bites, are highly recommended. Prices are affordable, much cheaper than McDonald's, yet the food is considered tastier. The restaurant is clean, accessible off the highway, and provides platter-style meals with a sandwich, two sides, and a drink, often substituting a milkshake. Despite some reports of smaller side portions, the overall experience is positive, with inviting employees and well-organized service. While some customers need to avoid peanuts due to their presence in the facility, the food generally meets the expectations of an American standard that satisfies most visitors.
