“I’m a native Texan staying in Knox for a few months before I have to head home. I’ve tried a couple wing places here and there during my stay in TN, and they were all mid. I was finally able to satisfy my hunger for good chicken wings at Wings Etc. The appetizers came out in no less than 5 minutes after they were ordered, the service was outstanding, and most importantly, the wings were definitely worth trying over & over again.“

“This was only the 3rd time we visited this college bar. Every time we visit the security guys out front are very polite. The bar tenders are always friendly and get to every customer quickly. Again this is a college dive bar and the mens room was clean as any other bar in town. This time we got food and my grilled chicken sandwich was huge and delicious. If you’re in the area for sure stop by.“
“Great food at very reasonable prices. The service was very good, not great but that isn't even a bad thing. Some of the best fish and chips you can find. Onion rings are good and the fries are good. If you want to go in a restaurant and have really good food and a very reasonable price you should pay them a visit. I've been once before when there was a live band so it was loud which is to be expected when there is live music but it's a fun place to go with very good food.“

“1st time here and shocked me Mike the owner is a really cool guy great guest he had come in. The crowd there was huge never seen this bar before its sits in back off kp behind taco bell check it out you won't be disappointed also they have wings burgers pizza and was great. “This is the best lake spot in West Knoxville. It is laid back, so don't expect anything else except a relaxed lake vibe. The Kitchen is small, but they do a great job with the the menu and the staff is always great. Where else can you come by boat or car?“

He was the only one working, but it was slow. There's a service window with a warning sign, imploring people not to speak to Dino through said window lest they "regret it." I believe the sign.Armstrong's is what I imagine a bar from the 1970s looks like. Wood paneling on the walls. Wooden liquor shelves. A corkboard in a frame with pictures of regulars hanging on the wall. The light fixture behind the full-service bar looks like a proton. Cigarette smoke, two pool tables, and a dart board.Y'all: I ain't mad. This place feels right. I bet that on weekend nights, that place is a heller. Loud music and booze, pickup trucks and motorbikes, best friends and bad decisions.Why not five stars? Because they didn't have my beer on draft. I know that"s picky, but it had been a hell of a day and I had The Thirst. Nobody's fault but mine, I reckon.I'll go back. Probably in the afternoon. Again. I'll get some cheesesticks and bring some quarters for Golden Tee. And I'll wait for the regulars to come in at night, because I need to be there when that happens. After Yesterdays experience at a local bar, I will not be going back there & I will be keeping you in mind. Unfortunately, I do have a big dog. “This place is pretty hype. The cook josh is very nice and respectful had my food out in no time. The bartender Morgan was the life of the party very fast and making rounds with the other customers ! “Always a fun event here. Staff always cool and attentive, but not bothersome. Food is also good, but the atmosphere and fun to be had are unmatched. I don't drink, but the nerdy themed drinks I see coming out always make me consider starting.“
