Went there for lunch today, hoping it was a meat and three kind of place. Right now, they have a limited menu as they've just reopened. We got a philly cheese steak and fries, quite good! Looking at what other people got, everything looked good but right now, it's mostly breakfast and sandwiches. Looking forward to trying it out again when they get more of a menu going.

The atmosphere is plain. Full lighting. The food is consistently good. I have eaten there many times and enjoy going there.

Visiting during a busy Sunday, worth the wait. Omlet and pancakes where fantastic. Home cooking and all day breakfast, can't beat this home style feeling.

So glad The Amber has reopened! Good food, good service, good people…what more could you want?

First time I've been there in years, mainly because I no longer live in the area. The biscuits and gravy were tasty. Everything else was meh. Makes me sad. I was looking forward to our visit.

Myself wife and kids went to Ambers after hearing all the good buzz about new ownership. We walked in and were kindly greeted and taken to a lovely window table. Our waitress was Gina she got our drinks out fast and our food came out quick and piping hot. It was DELICIOUS! Our kids even ate their veggies for the first time without us having to beat them senseless and my wife was moaning with pleasure from the biscuits n gravy making sounds Ive never heard. We were so satisfied when we left we forgot one of our kids in the bathroom. We didnt care then and we dont care now. We knew he'd be in good hands with the friendly Ambers staff. As soon as we got home my wife gave me some action after 3 years no headache or bloated excuse or anything. After a couple cigarettes we then went back to Ambers for lunch and picked up our kid who wasnt even sad we left him cause he loved the place so much. After another delicious meal we went back home and my wife put it on me again. Needless to say we'll be back at Ambers every week and are expecting soon. We hope its a girl so we can name her Amber.

My family and I stopped in for a bite on our way home from church. When we entered the hostess was very friendly and welcoming. We were seated right away. It did take a few minutes for our server to come to the table but she was very pleasant and cheerful so we didn't mind the wait. Our food arrived in a somewhat timely manner and it tasted good. If you want a meal worthy of Gordan Ramsey don't go here but if you want a friendly atmosphere with food you might find at your grandmothers house this is the place for you. We will definitely be going back.

We decided to give this place another shot since it's under new ownership. Well we should've not even came here. We sat at the table waiting for the waitress Kim to get there. It took her 10 min. We ordered and she just kept walking to other tables getting orders too.as a server when you hold orders you are going to back the kitchen up and make customers mad because they are having to wait way too long for a simple order. She didn't even bring us the right drinks 15 min later. All we ordered was biscuit and gravy and bacon times 2 and we waited for an hour and 15 min. During this time we she never filled out drinks or came to see if we were ok. This place hasn't changed. New owners/management didn't mean anything. It still has bad service. The only thing that changed was the hostess were nice.

The steak was somewhat bland and my cup smelled of some cleaning chemicals. The sides were good.
