The food was aggressively average — like, if “meh” opened a restaurant, this would be it. The service was fine in the same way getting socks for Christmas is fine. The waitress forgot part of our order and told us it was a family restaurant, which is a bold claim for a place that doesn’t even have a kids’ menu. I guess “family” means “bring your own nuggets.”
But let’s get to the real crime here: I ordered a hot latte while dining in, and they handed it to me in a TO-GO CUP. A paper cup. With a lid. While I was sitting down. In a chair. Like an adult who ordered a sit-down beverage.
I just sat there, staring at it like, “Do I look like I’m about to sprint to a meeting?” If I wanted to drink from a to-go cup, I would’ve hit a gas station. This is the kind of nonsense that makes civilizations crumble.
The atmosphere was actually nice, which makes it worse — it’s like they built the perfect place to relax and then said, “You know what? Let’s ruin it with paper cups.”

Pancake came to me via manager unceremoniously as I sat at counter with my coffee. Huge ball of blueberry butter sat in the middle not melting. I spread some over the top & added syrup. Sorry to say, there was no heat, no flavor, no sweetness, no interest. What a disappointment, after seeing pancakes delivered to customers as I ate my omelette every time I visited. If you try the pancake anyway, do not top with blueberry butter. Unknown to me, $2 extra is charged, and a little bit of sourness is added to the butter. When I asked for $2 to be removed, manager looked at me disapproving & said “no,” because I ate some. I will not go back. Perhaps manager is different from my previous visits.

Super Awesome
My favorite place for breakfast, especially on the weekends! Cidney always takes great care of us and the food is consistent and tastes great. We always start with a pancake appetizer (you simply must get a pancake!) and enjoy the bus and gravy along with eggs and sausage!

Our server, Ami, was great. She is very personable and knowledgeable about the menu. Our food arrived at the table quickly. It looked and tasted fantastic.
The atmosphere is very cool.

I asked for eggs and toast! They don’t have toast! I ordered egg burrito instead! Tasted awful! I only had one bite. The coffee was pretty average. Disappointing!

The food was OK? The pancakes are good if they weren’t burnt on one side. The eggs I had were supposed to O/e were O/WELL. The WORST part is the service!! The wait staff had no clue about being observant!! They ALL stood at the front desk talking and never once any of them took a glance to observe.

Restaurantji Recommends
Went here for the first time with my mom and we over did it per our usual but this place hands down has the best biscuits/gravy and pancakes that I have ever had!!! Also tried the burrito and it was about the size of a newborn baby. Definitely getting 2 meals out of this and very decently priced!! Fantastic service from Ms Cidney!! Thank you for a memorable morning!

Wait time was definitely forever.
Did the waitlist thing about 45 mins away from the restaurant and wait time said 100 mins
Got there and ended up waiting and additional hour and a half on top of the 45 mins it took to drive there.
Honestly the food is nothing to write home about. I wanted to come here because I discovered the Aretha Frankenstein pancakes at a different restaurant in gatlinburg and they were phenomenal.
So I set out to discover where they came from and here is where I landed.
The pancakes weren’t nearly as good as the Resturant Gatlinburg. The burrito had way too much cheese and as a cheese lover it was too much for me. The potatoes were good but needed additional seasonings which is fine. Mocha milkshakes was delicious as well as iced coffee for my partner.
He said he enjoyed his waffle and his eggs and bacon.
Don't trust the online wait-list! Checked in, said 20-30 minutes. We live about 15 minutes away, so we left for the restaurant. When we pull in, we get a text that we have an hour to wait. No apology, just a smiley face in the text.

On the waitlist for 2 hours. As we wait, we see several tables left empty, both clean and unclean, for several minutes while the number of people waiting outside grows. Once we’re sat, I realized there are several tables that are clean and empty, but they are not sitting any of the people waiting outside in the sun for their tables. The food was disappointing. The breakfast burrito was bland, the pancakes were not fluffy. I regret wasting 3 hours of my Sunday for the most ridiculously bland food I’ve ever had. The only upsides were the vibe is nice and quirky inside and Mackenzie was great.
The restaurant is a very unique place! Very cool place! Espresso very delicious! Talking about waking up the dead? WOW Food was awesome, omelettes I had the Jabber ! Check on line for more information and details. Knoxville South location.
I’am from Fenton Mo , nice vacation to come to visit Tennessee !
