“We found this restaurant as we were passing through. We went inside to order and the staff was very nice. We had a hibachi plate and two sushi rolls. The Surf and Turf roll was Ah-may-zing! So very tasty! My son got the Sunshine roll and it was very good, as well. The portions were very generous and everything was so good. The owner brought my food out to the car so that I wouldn't have to go back and forth in the cold. We will definitely be back!“

“First time eating there. Read Grubhub article in paper. He was wrong in his rating, it's a 5! For anyone really serious about Korean/Japanese fine cooking KOKO is a must. It has been said that we eat with our eyes too. Dishes were finely presented and they tasted as good as they looked. Dishes are light and complex without being fussy. I believe they have set the bar for Asian cuisine in Knoxville.“

“There was an issue tonight. They stay pretty busy with to go orders so I’m sure the kitchen gets backed up but they give pretty unreasonable. estimation as to when food is ready and I know that so I gave them plenty of time. They told me 20 minutes so I waited 30 minutes before I left the house and then when I got there, they said there was a pick up station in the back. The two hostesses were otherwise unoccupied. The bar was empty. I walked to the very back where I saw poor door dash drivers waiting and loosing valuable time while being ignored. I stood at the empty pick up station in the far rear next to the emergency exit and looked towards all the staff that was standing around at the front. Finally, after an additional ten minutes of waiting the same hostess who told me to go to the back of the bus came and asked me if I had been helped lol. No, you sent me back here and saw me sitting there with my hands in my pocket. She asked my name and and said my food wasn’t ready. When I frustrated stated that it had already been 40 minutes she held her hand up like a teacher to stop my 40 year old mouth like an insolent child. Finally, an adult showed up and They just asked me for my name and I gave them my last name but they had it under my first name, but the person working at the desk assumed I was a rideshare driver so they treated me like they do all rideshare drivers delivery people which is very disrespectfully. However, unlike most Places nowadays, they had I an an adult in charge who came in, took over and fixed it and made everything right. That’s how stores are supposed to be run and the food is always fantastic so no reason not to give it all the stars. Don’t let a couple bad apples, spoil a whole bunch. The food was fantastic so hats off to BOH and Management for saving the day. But get your FOH in line.“

“If I would give this more than a 5/5 I would. I would give this a 10/5. The food is great, top notch, they are so fast in what they do. We were in and out in less than an hour. I love how quick this Reaturant is and we were the only ones there.“

“Wow the dishes in the menu is endless. From japanese to Thai, yiu can pretty much get most of Asian food. The owner is very friendly and so 😁 funny. We ordered Roti for an appetizer , Laksa mee hoon, Kang pao chicken, and drunken noodle with beef for the main. Roti was my favorite and Laksa was hubby's.“

“As new management has taken over and they have made parking FREE, it is such a better atmosphere. So many restaurants to choose from. The shopping is top notch and the lawn is such a great place to hang out. 100/10! Way to go Kern's Food Hall for making our downtown even better!“

“It’s a slow lunch day today so everything came out very quick. I came in around 2:30pm got the lunch special. For what you get , a drink , a soup and entree , this is a great choice for quick Asian fare , my lunch after tip was under $15. The cashier recommended me the bourbon chicken which was very good and the tea tasted fresh and clean as well. I am a stickler for clean tea urns and they definitely passed the check on that. The restaurant is very clean and I am happy to say I am looking forward to bringing my mother back here to share one of these big egg rolls.“
