We order the large margarita pizza for our children and after a few bites they didn’t want to eat. When we had a bite, we realized it was full of salt and hence they refused to have their favorite food. We raised it to the restaurant staff and all they said was you are the second person today saying that it has too much salt. That’s it! No apology, no correction, no make-it-right! We were shocked with such customer service. Very disappointed and waste of our money as the pizzas are expensive.

Service was really good. I got the vegano pizza, I don't know if it's a vegan thing or what but for some reason they dumped a ton of sea salt on it and it was so salty it burned my mouth, but that seems to be normal for the south (vegans must look salt deprived). My partner's prosciutto pizza was apparently pretty good other than being overly cheesed and thus the crust was slightly under cooked. They remade one that didn't look right to them when they pulled it out without us even asking, so they're at least trying to put out quality food.
Vegetarian options: Just make sure to tell them light cheese and no salt.

Not good pizza. Sauce was ok and the dough tasted great, but it was undercooked, sauce was way too heavy and there was too much cheese for a Neapolitan (which is probably why the crust was under done).
Price for a personal size was $13. Will not likely ever try again.

Ordered for delivery through UberEats. Food was delayed when the courier went to pick it up, but since I wasn't there, I can't rate based on that. What I can rate on is the fact that the pizzas were absolutely awful. We threw them away after a couple of bites and ordered from somewhere else because we wanted real pizza. I've heard of getting burnt edges on the pepperoni, but these were blackened over most of their surface area. Only the ones fully covered by cheese were spared. The crust was that "rustic" and inconsistent style that doesn't have any uniformity, leading to burned patches, dry patches, and leaving the entire bottom looking like it was dragged across the coals without any of that usual wood-fired charm. The basil was completely cremated, disintegrating when touched with a bitter and unpleasant flavor. A complete waste of money and a massive disappointment. Will not be ordering from again and I recommend you try somewhere like Brenz, Jaboni's, or Mellow Mushroom if you're wanting some high quality pizza. I didn't bother with pictures because by the time I thought of even bothering to write a review, we had chucked them in the trash. If you don't want to take my word for it, feel free to try for yourself, but don't be shocked when you get your food and say "hey, I think that review was right about this place being bad at pizza".

Employees were rude and seemed to be mad to have to do their job. I’ve had better frozen pizza than what they sell. They put twice the amount of cheese as there is dough in the pizza. Way too overpriced for some shitty pizza.
Parking: Parking is also a scam here.

The lady that took our order (short, black hair) was extremely rude. She rolled her eyes openly at me, had me repeat my order after staring at me for a while without saying anything, and overall just seemed annoyed with having to interact with anyone. My friend who ordered after I did had a similar experience as well. I usually don’t leave negative reviews, but this is the first time I’ve ever seen experienced someone acting like this for no reason.

Went in for dinner yesterday at Kern's Food Hall in Knoxville. The staff was friendly and took our order. I got a cheese pizza for the kids. The pizza was blistered and the tops of the blisters were burnt black. It wasn't a lot on top but the underside was burnt as well. It put that burnt flavor in the pizza. My kids wouldn't eat it but I managed to eat some out of the center. I did like the sauce though. Also got a meatball sandwich that was a bit underwhelming. The meatballs had a light color and was possibly ground turkey. Again the sauce was good and the bread was good. Pizza and a meatball sandwich was $28.90 which was a bit steep for what we got. I'm from Chicago and have had excellent wood fired pizza and this wasn't it today. Perhaps a little more training could get them there. I probably wont try again but places can always improve over time.

This was our 4th trip to kerns food hall and second time dinning with Ava Pizzeria. Both times we have ordered a simple pizza for the kids the pizza crust is decent however the kids have complained about too much cheese and not able to taste the pizza (sauce). Where the problem lies is within the customer service. There is not one person behind the counter that was happy to greet us or even simply offer a suggestion. We placed our order and received at text within a timely manner. Upon picking up the pizza it was tossed on the counter with a couple other pizzas. Not even knowing which one was ours. The first time we encountered an issue was when asking for a to go box. The young lady behind the register was not even willing to look up, and when I finally got her attention she just reached around and tossed it on the counter. Point being Ava should step up the customer service skills to match what they are so proud of in the videos for Kern's. You have many other great restaurants right at arms reach and should want to make people feel welcome stepping up to your counter.

Ava is located in the Kerns Food Hall and they have pizza. Delicious pizza. After watching two other pizza come by with theirs, it was hard to say no.
I chose the "Prosciutto" white pizza which comes with ricotta, mozzarella, red onion, arugula and a balsamic glaze. Somewhere under there was some prosciutto but not a big portion.
The pizza did not take long at all until I got my text message to pick it up. It looked fabulous and it tasted great.
Vegetarian options: They do have a Vegano with vegan cheese.
Dietary restrictions: The sign says that they are not able to accomodate allergens.
Parking: Large parking lot. Plenty of space.
Kid-friendliness: Kids love pizza!
Wheelchair accessibility: Step free access

The pizza was pretty bad. It was underdone and cold. Taste wise it was ok. The taste did not reflect the price. The person taking our order came across as rude. They asked for our number to alert us that our order was ready but also asked us to check in periodically? We waited and when we came back, out pizzas had been sitting out for a minute it seemed, which is ironic because they were underdone and could have used a few more minutes in the oven. I don't understand the point of having a phone notification system for alerting people when their order is done if your employees are just going to ignore it. Overall, we were not impressed.

The crust was burnt. I understand that a traditional pizza has a nice char on the bottom of the crust, but for $20 on a kids pepperoni pizza that I wouldn’t even eat is unacceptable. Hopefully they can improve.
