Really, really, really good brisket sandwiches and sides. Fried okra and grilled bussel sprouts were wonderful. Staff was great, very friendly and restrooms were clean.

Either the employees hate working there or Something else is wrong with the place. I usually love going there even though the service is mediocre at best. Today, it was extremely worse. It was completely dead. Bartender was rolling silverware and watched me stand at the bar for 5 solid minutes til she even came over to greet me. A loud screaming match was heard going on in the kitchen as if a fight was about to go down. I grabbed a drink when she eventually emerged from her silverware station. It was one of the slowest days I’ve seen it. I decided to open a tab but sit at the bar on the outside ledge. The argument in the kitchen could be heard outside the establishment. I finished my cider and my glass sat empty for about 10min. 2 different bartenders passed me at several times while I had an empty cup in front of me. So I decided to check out and leave.
Either The bartenders and the kitchen staff aren’t making enough money, or they don’t care enough to make money. Here’s my suggestion to the management, fire everyone and have everyone reapply for their position. It seemed like no one really wanted to be there.

I’ve been coming here since they opened and have always enjoyed the drinks and atmosphere. Unfortunately, an experience on September 23rd has completely changed that.
When I sat down for lunch with colleagues, I was aggressively confronted by a bartender who had served me on August 20th. She accused me of walking out without paying my tab that day—despite the fact that my bank account clearly shows the charge. Even after I explained and offered proof, she returned to my table multiple times, continuing to imply that I was lying.
I have never skipped out on a check in my life, and it was jarring, embarrassing, and deeply confusing to be treated this way—especially at a place I once considered a favorite local spot. I’ve been back several times between August 20th and September 23rd, paid in full each visit, and never encountered this server.
It’s sad that I now feel uncomfortable returning, not because of the food or drinks, but because I can’t trust I’ll be treated with basic respect. I would appreciate the chance to clear up this situation with a manager, should they wish to reach out.

waitress incorrectly accused my friend of not paying her bill when she did in fact pay her bill and can prove it with her bank statement. She was rude and aggressive. Check out Xul if you're in town they won't treat you like this and have better vibes

I originally tried Gypsy Circus Cider while vacationing in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. I liked it so much I wanted to try to find it in the stores. When I was unsuccessful with that, I didn’t check a lot of places, I searched online and found their distillery and tap room and it was on our way home. So we stopped to see and it was so much better than I expected. Brianna was our bartender and she was super friendly and helpful. She helped me pick out some flavors to try and I purchased some things to take home and share with my friends. I had a very good experience here and their ciders are delicious. I live 5 hours away, but I would make the trip to buy more cider and go back for their events.

When we walked in to Gypsy on a Friday evening, we expected good drinks and good food. What we did not expect was how Kellie would add so much to our experience. Her delightful nature, attentiveness to guests and puppers, and her overall wonderfulness added so much to our experience. Come for the drinks and food, but stay and have more because Kellie is an absolute delight.
