We just had dinner at The Bistro and I’m in love with the bruschetta chicken!!! It was so good, I could tell the vegetables were home grown and super delicious….please put this on the menu all the time! Can’t wait to go back to our favorite restaurant 💕
Pretty good food and live music, great jazz to go with it. They don’t take reservations but on Monday night plenty of tables. We got the goat cheese mousse, the fresh Burrata which was fantastic and came with tomatoes grown by the owner. Some of the best tomatoes you will eat. Our server was Martha and she was so very sweet.
We weren’t too hungry so between the four of us we ordered two entrées, the chicken bruschetta and a shrimp pasta. Both were pretty good. My husband is eating here many times and he absolutely loves the pork chops.
But the dessert, oh my God the dessert. Coconut cream pie delicious the peanut butter chocolate pie, absolutely out of this world! Don’t skip dessert.
Pro tip: there is a parking lot adjacent to the restaurant. Very convenient so that you don’t have to drive around looking for a parking spot.

The atmosphere is really great and the staff is nice but the vegan options are quite underwhelming. They have labeled vegan options but it seems that they mostly just leave stuff away. I had a salad with oil as dressing and a dry burger on a patty with a salad leave and a tomato slice. The intention is there but needs some more effort.
Went for lunch. I ordered vegetable platter and veggie burger. Both were good. Staff was nice

My husband went for a late-night drink and to listen to live jazz music; we did not have any food. Cozy, speakeasy vibes. Great service. Reasonable drink prices.

Restaurant/Bar with live Jazz on the weekends, small vegan section on the menu. We had the tofu scampi, beet and tofu bowl, and Brussels sprouts appetizer. Everything was flavorful and seemed freshly made.
Best hamburger in Knoxville hands down. Don't get it wrong... this isn't a burger joint. This is a classy place with unique, tasty specials. We frequent this place, especially if there's something good playing next door at the Bijou. If there's a particularly popular act at the Bijou, you need to be way early to get in. Everyone knows you get an excellent meal at the Bistro and can have a couple of cocktails to get primed up.

Had lunch downtown today. Fast, good service with delicious food!
Jazz was nice and loved all the unique options for vegetarians / vegans! Service was also great! If we are ever driving through Knoxville again, we will definitely come back!
We had an outstanding dinner ( grouper on grits) and the carrot cake was to die for. One of our favorites in Knoxville. The specials are always fantastic.
Drinks and service okay. They don’t charge their advertise prices. Then when you point it out, they don’t care to fix it.
Wonderful eve!!! Work trip delight. Live Jam with UT students. D’Ambre was excellent. Asked their faves and was blown away by the meat loaf recommendation. Did not disappoint. Not sure I would have had as much luck choosing on my own. Super thankful!!!
