Went there for lunch today at 12:15 while waiting for tires to be installed at Discount Tires. It wasn't busy so there are no excuses for the poor quality of food we were served. We got two lg pulled pork combo meals, the buns weren't fresh, the pulled pork was dry, had to add alot of sauce to make it edible, and the french fries were stale. Do not waste your time or money at this place.

Been visiting this location for years. Service and food is always great but last two drive thru visits have been less than stellar. Girl working on it never smiles, never says thank you. Its less than desirable to come in with her acting like she hates working here and doesn't care if the customers are here or not.
It's just nice to get quality food and customer service at a great price. Thank you, buddy's for years of great food and service.

Always had a great experience before but today got all you can eat. Went to get refill was treated like I was trying to steal their ribs they asked for receipt and got real rude when I showed it to them. GM was not interested in what really happened

Make sure you check your bag because these morons can’t get anything right it’s either their out of potatoes or they just throw whatever they remember you saying over the drive through into the bag just drive to the Lenoir city location and get better food and an actual correct order

A good place for fast bbq with a drive thru if that's what you're looking for. Atmosphere and people are nice, and food is fresh and quick. I wish they had a regular sized baked potatos as a side instead of either fries or potato salad, but hey you can't have it all I guess.

1st time at Buddys. Had ribs & pulled pork w green beans & fries. Ribs were 5 stars good & green beans 5 star. Ribs are definitely worth the trip. Pork & fries were sadly just average. Bbq sauce - I had 'mild' was excellent. They had a 'hot' sauce available. Note to restaurant, change to a better french fry or even tator tot option.
Adequate and edible, but nothing exceptional about any of the dishes. Cole slaw and potato salad taste like they are straight out of the grocery store prepared food section. Baked beans are way too heavy on the vinegar. Pulled pork was standard. Brisket was adequate, but nothing special.

Michelle "Manager in training" had a VERY difficult time getting an order of fries and a drink ready. Wanted to tell me that they didnt sell what i have been eating every tuesday for 3 years. I left before i cussed. Ignorance and rudeness isnt a good quality for your future manager to have. Good luck

Just called to get information on a 50-75 person catering job. Ask the girl who answered the phone if there was a manager or somebody I could talk to to get information on this. She said that they were all busy. Then there was a long pause. I said “There’s no body I can talk to?” She said “The manager is busy.” So I said “I guess I’ll call Calhouns.” She said, “OK. Have a good day.”I’m glad Buddy’s doing so well that they don’t need my business.
