Buddy's was a good lunch idea. They have some decent BBQ. The portions were a little small when my friend got the pulled pork dinner and I got the large pulled pork sammy. The food was good! But his dinner was small. I opened my sandwich and, I mean, it was good. Could have used another scoop. Feel like I was swerved a regular and not the large I paid for. But, as I said, the food was good! Staff were really friendly.

Worked for stowers caterpillar for years always had Buddy's at events never a bad meal have hit the drive thu many times over the years in the last couple years we have made it a once a week dinner stop. Feed 5 in all it's configurations have to say we have never been disappointed I'm a knoxville resident bore and raised and do alot of traveling for work had my fair share of that is supposed to be the best local BQ spot in alot of states. I still pick Buddy's maybe I'm biased because I'm local but oh well when it's good it's good.

Had the brisket sandwich and the meat was as thin as paper and lacking anything resembling seasoning or flavor and dry as heck. Wouldn't return not even for the potato salad and it was decent.

Buddy's has stayed solid through the years. While most restaurants have gone downhill over my life, Buddy's food quality has stayed the same. The prices haven't gone up that much. The staff at the Bearden location were so friendly and the food came out quick. I don't like that they changed to the white lightbulbs in the dining room. I miss the ambiance of the warmer light tone. Still has the great log cabin feel and the fireplace!

Fantastic pulled pork although the base sauce is a bit mild (old east tn folks like it like that). I douse my bbq in the hot variant and it really wakes up the flavor profile, really nice atmosphere and still a great value!
Pulled chicken proportions were very small on top of that my wife found a small bone in her food, and the cold slaw was very bland, no flavor. The fries were fine, but nothing great for the price paid. The only good thing was the hush puppies.

The last few times I've sent my hubby to get me dinner the first time fries were old hard and tasted redipped in grease.This time my meat was full of grease I've never seen this much before in my food.please fix this I love the food and would like to keep coming wish I could add pic of my greasy meat

I love Buddy's, and today we had it catered at work, for all shifts!!! Yum Os 10-11-23It was yummy, pulled chicken, pork,baked beans, BBQ sauces,; and delicious coleslaw. The slaw is yummy on the pulled pork! Everyone ate and ate and had to roll us out to work! hehe just kidding.Came package great, had everything for a great BBQ.
