They served us rotten coleslaw.. not sour, not kinda bad, ROTTEN When I brought it back up to tell them it was rotten and didn’t need to be served anymore, no one seemed overly concerned. They offered to get us more, but after you eat something that literally gags you, you don’t want more. The food all tasted old and reheated. Do not recommend this location. Honestly, it should be shut down.

This is the second time I’ve ordered from this specific location and my order was messed up. The first time I ordered 4 Hawg dawgs and all 4 were missing the hotdog. That was resolved relatively quickly with no problem. This time around I ordered 3 tender lil buddy meals and paid extra for the Mac and cheese as a side and got home to find there was no Mac and cheese in any box. I called the store and spoke with the manager, explained my issue, he got back on the phone and told me he spoke to the side person and that that person said they put it in the bag so he basically said I was lying about it and then when I reiterated that there was definitely no Mac and cheese in the bag he put me on hold again for 10 minutes so i decided to just drive to the store and as I’m pulling into the parking lot he gets back on the phone and asks me if I can come back to the store and get the Mac and cheese. While my issue was resolved in the end, the customer service from the manager was just unacceptable.

Been to this location multiple times, pulled pork is a basic go to. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS. The last visit, they served my 5-year-old daughter rancid Cole slaw, same on my wife's hotdog. My sandwich was in pieces. Threw it all in the trash and went elsewhere. LOOK AT THE PHOTOS, STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS.
If they will serve anything that looks and smells so terrible, and every item ordered is poor, drive another 5 mi to another Buddy's and save yourself some diarrhea. As a Pro chef, shame on you for serving products that were in the very least left out for days, most likely way out of date, and not held at temperature. This place needs to throw everything prepared away and fire someone. GM? Health dept? WT#??
Also, this is not their doing but should be noted- there is a homeless schizophrenic man (very sad) that stays in the lobby as much as he can and the staff seems to allow it. Watch your children and keep your distance.

Ok, so I eat at Buddy's BBQ all the time. So today I go to the Bearden location for an early lunch. Get my food and drink and go to a table by the windows. As I am sitting there eating, small black ants are crawling everywhere, along the windows sills and even on my table while I was trying to eat. I killed about 3 . I did notice ants were on other tables along the windows. Plus the windows sills were dirty and nasty. Number 2, the TV was on and extremely loud....and what was on ? Sports!!!! Men yacking back and forth as fast as they could talk. Not everyone enjoys listening and watching sports in every restaurant in town!!!!!

If you're craving disappointment served with a side of indifference, Buddy's BBQ in Knoxville delivers in spades. I was served chicken so pink it looked like it had just lost a game of hide-and-seek with the grill. When I politely asked the staff to cook it a bit longer—because, you know, salmonella isn’t a seasoning—they shrugged and told me, “That’s just how it’s cooked.” Excuse me? Since when did “undercooked” become a culinary style? The dismissive attitude was the cherry on top of a meal that felt more like a health hazard than Southern hospitality. Seven years ago I would have recommended this place, but not anymore - avoid. If Buddy’s idea of barbecue is playing Russian roulette with poultry, I’ll pass—and suggest you do too.
