Always love the atmosphere. Usually the service is good but the last couple times I have been not sure if it's turn over or short staffed but it been less than what I expected. Hopefully things will get turned around soon.

If I could negative stars I would walked in at 8pm on a Sunday waited 6 minutes to be seated got drinks and ordered food almost 30 min wait before food was served. Brought side salads out with the meal. My BBQ brisket, pork and ribs were cold. Girlfriend's chicken looked like a chicken breast smothered in cheese. Didnt see our waitress after food was served had too flag someone else down to get the check then. She didn't even ask how are meal was even though it was obvious we barely touched anything. I made some comments about my cold food and she just asked if I was paying in cash or card. Very disappointed would not recommend this place.

This is my favorite restaurant in town! Not only was my food presented to me in an astonishing way, but it tasted great.And the service was outstanding. Kudos to Kate for outstanding service!! Not only did she describe the food extremely well, but as we talk, she always turned the conversation back toward the food and how much we would enjoy it.😋 How refreshing that was. 💯 Courtney, the manager came to our table so that I could brag on the food and kate's excellent service.But it didn't stop there.I had to comment on josephine, who took care of the front doors as I walked up.I noticed there was no cigarette butts on the ground and their front doors and hardware were sparkling clean.I don't think i've ever seen a cleaner entrance. Having had a commercial cleaning business before I do.Look at things closely.So I will say of every place i've been in in knoxville this is absolutely the cleanest entrance.I have ever seen. 🙏💯👏👏 THANKS to everyone!! I would also like to thank the cook because the food was excellent. I got the southern chicken salad, which was presented with 5 huge onion rings on top. I couldn't eat the whole thing. So I had to take it home with me, and then I had 2 more meals from it after I got home, it was Huge. And so beautiful!! 👀😲👌 Kudos to the cook!!💯🙏👏👏 This will now be my go to restaurant. This is the restaurant that I will bring my family and friends to impress them and make sure that they have an excellent meal and excellent service. We were a party of two for lunch on a Monday. They were not very busy but our server seemed rushed. My husband ordered their Pork Nachos. There wasn't a lot of pork but an abundance of beans. The taste of the beans was overpowering, but the pork pieces were great and the chips were fresh. My Smokehouse Salad looked amazing with plenty of meat and other toppings. We had been eating for about 5 minutes when our server brought the bill. I had actually planned on dessert after hearing her mention banana pudding to another table. It felt like we were being rushed. About 15 minutes in, while I was actively eating, she stopped by and said to let her know if we needed boxes. I definitely felt like we were being booted out. Just a few minutes later, as I was about a quarter of the way through my large salad bowl, my fork pulled up a hair. I could only raise it about 4 inches until it became hard to tug out. It was wrapped up in the lettuce and looked to be very long. It was not mine because I don't have black hair. I flagged our server over and she wanted my to lay it on a drink coaster but I could not pull it out without either breaking it or making a mess of the salad. She apologized and said she would take it off our bill. Just a minute later a male manager approached and apoligize, offering to have another salad made. I said no, then he pressured, saying it would only take a minute. I again told him no, I didn't want anything to eat from there. He said he would remove the salad from our bill, apologized again and left. A bit later, our server brought the new bill and I went ahead and paid. She seemed insincere when she apologized, quickly moving on to what must be her normal parting guest speach. I give her a 2 stars. While she kept our drinks full, she rushed us and made us feel like we were her assembly line customer's. I give the manager 3 stars. He did look and sound embarrassed and concerned about the hair in my food. He tried to get me to have something else but why pressure me when I clearly was grossed out about their kitchen. The food: the Pork Nachos were a big letdown compared to what we have ordered at Calhoun's on the River so I give them 1 star. My salad was a big zero. Looked and tasted good until the hair. Never visiting this location again.

Went to lunch Friday. Excited to try this place. Got the BBQ chicken sandwich. Bun was burnt and fries were cold. Friend got fish and a baked potato which was cold. Now it’s lunch time shouldn’t this food be fresh and hot??? Disappointing.
