Just left this place and it was my first time ever. It was our waitress’s first day, so there was absolutely nothing she could recommend because she didn’t know the menu. She was however very friendly and was great about our refills and did a great job making sure we were taken care of.
The problem with the restaurant was the food. Everyone at the table order steaks as recommended by our host. The steaks took over 40min to cook and considering they came out lukewarm probably not so long. Baked potatoes were cold on the inside. I would have tried the rest of the food (broccoli and shrimp) but was told by the manager that if we took it with us we would be charged even though the steaks were what we looked forward to. I rather left my food and ate a Krystal (not my preference) before I spend money on cold food. I have definitely had much better and would consider a different location to dine.

Alex the Bartender was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. Had a drink as I waited on my to go food. He's definitely a great asset to this corporation

Great food, we got the ribs and brisket which were very tasty. Excellent service by our waiter Gavin, on his recommendation we tried the peach cobbler which was great. Would definitely recommend this particular Calhoun's location.

I ordered appetizers, pretzels, and dip, pretzels were burnt, and the fried green tomatoes had a nasty smell and taste.
Always a good meal! We had family members from the southwest and they wanted barbeque. Everyone was very happy with their meals and had high praise for your biscuits and garlic rolls. Service was really good, too.

Our favorite restaurant in Knoxville.
It trys but keeps failing. Maybe we will give it another try in a year, but probably not.
Soooo good.
Very good diner spot for a quick grab or night out.

Our family of 7 go there frequently.
One of our favorites.
Service and food are excellent.
Lunch was very good
Fish and chips was fantastic!
One of Knoxville's best BBQ restaurants. Good place to sit down, have dinner and visit with friends.
The Brisket was absolutely horrible. I returned my plate and asked for a marbled piece of brisket (not so dry) and the manager came out with about the same looking piece that had more marbling but still dry as heck. It had no flavor whatsoever. I was so surprised when they brought out the check and made me pay for it after I clearly didn’t eat it. Waste of $20. Service was good though. Probably won’t be back to this location.
Great smoked meats.
