The food was great. The front of house got us seated fairly quickly, vwry friendly not rude or unprofessional. Our server Ashley was absolutely awesome. She was great with my son, and di not mind taken food back when it was wrong on her own. She was attentive and great conversation while still tending to everyone.

This was our third time visiting Calhoun’s and most likely our last. My husband and I both ordered the ribs (since that’s what hey are known for) we were very surprised that the ribs were a bit on the tough side, (not the fall of the bone like our previous visits) and very dry, as if they had sat out for some time then re-heated. The French fries were hot and fresh. My favorite part of the meal….the tablespoon of Cole slaw they served with it. Their sweet tea was good, the view enjoyable and our server was outstanding. Like I said we won’t be back.

We arrived a few minutes before opening but let us in to get out of the weather. They sat us by the window with a beautiful view of the river. I highly recommend the hickey smoked prime rib sandwich. Never put it down. Would order again.🥩🥪 🔥 🔥 🔥
Food and service were great. The view of TN river is fantastic. I gave the atmosphere a 3 because smoking is permitted on the deck. I understand we were outside and could have asked for another table. The people we sat next to were chain smoking and there were kids sitting close as well. My recommendation is to have a designated smoking area else where. We went there before the Lainey Wilson concert. I would definitely go back just not sit in that area. Menus inside and outside are different. Decently priced.

This is based on two experiences. The first time we went, a few years ago, we wanted to sit outside. Only when we were ordering were we told that the menu outside was different than the one inside so some of the things we really wanted, we couldn't get! Also we had just spent the day at Knoxville Zoo in the hot sun and they sat us at a table without an umbrella for us to bake in the sun again. It wasn't a pleasant experience! Yesterday we had a much better experience, sitting inside, in a sun room above the water. Good service and food! Star count is lower than a 5 due to the first experience.

Good food, for a great price. Some of the apps seemed expensive, $12 for fried pickles? But there were other value options. I had a pulled pork sandwich with fries and salad, my mother in law had shrimp with her salad and they were a good size, not those tiny ones. Cheap drinks and amazing location with a deck right over the water.
