Lived in Knoxville my whole life and never tried Cappuccino's. My wife and I went at Christmas and then again recently. We have really enjoyed our meals and had great service both times! Would recommend for a date night!

Recently went to Cappuccino's for my birthday! Our server's name was Leah and was kind enough to answer all our questions and make suggestions as to her favorite items on the menu. There were 8 adults and two children. We ordered 4 appetizers and 9 meals. (Surf and turf, Filet Marsala, Chicken Alfredo, Chicken Parm --all delicious) Every single person loved their dish. The manager, Abby, actually came by to check on us.Take your date there....they will be impressed.Take your parents... you owe them one.Take your grandparents....they will love you for it.Take your clients there....you need their business......or just take yourself....you deserve it.Only negative was when the front door opened (lots of people on a Saturday night) you could feel the cold air at the table...not a whole lot you can do about that.

We hadn't been here in quite awhile, so we decided to pop in. We wanted to grab a drink at the copper cellar bar before we ate & the bar is just as impressive as we remembered. The copper is gorgeous and the combo with the dark wood just screams OG class. The hosts were friendly enough when we came in & seemed efficient. Our bartenders (Skylar & Riley) were very friendly & Skylar popped right over to take our order. She was unfamiliar with the drink I ordered (Pimms Cup), but she enthusiastically said she'd go look it up to try it make it. Unfortunately, they didn't stock Pimms, but she made me a French 75 instead. We had fun at the bar and our table was ready at the cappuccino side right on time. We started with the orange & white scallops. So good! The special was wolffish with pesto & it was fresh & clean tasting. The brussel sprouts were a standout, too. Our server was nice enough, but definitely could have been more attentive. She did not check in with us very often to make sure we were all good. We enjoyed our food & the wine and when we left, we asked ourselves why we hadn't been there in so long & decided we'd be back sooner rather than later.

One of the best dining experiences I’ve had. Amazing service and food. The water deserves noting too - it was so fresh and clean. While the copper cellar needs some refreshing, Cappuccino’s does everything right!

Cappuccinos was our restaurant of choice after our micro wedding, I had never eaten there before that day. I am thankful that was an excellent decision. My husband and I now visit once a year, on our anniversary. Each visit is a special occasion and we love every moment. My go-to dish is the classic lasagna. Cappuccinos is a legacy Knoxville establishment that has served this area's special occasions for decades, and I hope decades to come.

Fantastic Italian, the pasta was superb, as were all the sauces with each dish. The bread and oil was wonderful, service was excellent. Nice ambiance. We’ve finally found great Italian food that rivals what we’ve had in NYC little Italy, thank you Cappuccino’s!

I've been wanting to try this restaurant for about 2 years. We finally went last night and it was delicious. There was 4 of us and we got the meatball appetizer, Ceasar salads, filet over Spinach, baked seafood manicotti, chicken cappuccino and a veal special over mushrooms risotto. Everyone loved everything. The tastes were fantastic. The restaurant is beautiful and very cozy for a nice night out or special occasion. The service started out good but by the end it seemd as though the girl forgot to bring the check. It was about 20 minutes between the time we were finished and her actually bringing the check. Other than that we had a very nice night. Highly recommend.

Their website is far more attractive than this old, tired restaurant. 1. People step out to smoke on the front steps and it wafts right in to where we were seated in the restaurant. 2. The food is subaverage. Caprese basically consists of two slices of old tomato, each cut in half to create the appearance of more, What is described as fresh basil was old wilted basil. 3. Wine selection is nothing like the wine list on the website. Mainly consists of old grocery store standards like Coppola's. 4. Looking for new places to frequent, after we had ordered, staff refused to share the menu of the co-located sister restaurant Copper Cellar. Claimed that other patrons would suspect she was "illicitly" ordering off that menu in violation of their practices. Now really! That is just silly!Has anybody noticed that businesses no longer prioritize catering to customers? Seeing more and more almost haughty or imperious customer service these days. It is a sign of something not good.

Tribute to the 1970s. I guess lots of people like a place that is just like it was when this was the best place in a food desert of a town. Well Knoxville has moved on but none of Mike Chase’s restaurants have. They are all mediocre, dark places that remind the diner what a weird, tasteless time the 70s were. We had a group but the place was empty and even so we got scant attention. Waitress couldn’t remember who got what, no beverage refills, poor wine selection… ahh the 70s.
