Good food in a timely, accurate manner. 4 stars instead of 5 because not everyone wants to be called "Hon" and not everyone wants to hear you "singing" but the product and service were great thanks. (Owner acknowledged, thank you!)

The fish is not completely cooked. Very little flakey white fish, mushy white fish. Seems to be in a hurry, hush puppies are almost always dropped 2 or 3 times. There also dark from grease not changed. When store had some renovations going on and a couple Managers were there, food was excellent. I am not the only person to notice that the fish isn't done....Good product, A cook that don't take pride in doing the job. Next illness from it,
We're going to court.

I don’t know what has happened to this place!! hadn’t been there for a while so my husband and I recently ate there. The restaurant is so nasty. It has really gone down hill. My husband said the green beans used to be good but now they have no seasoning and taste like they were poured straight out of a can. They need to shut this place down for a week and clean it up really good along with some painting. The prices are ridiculous, too. This place is in serious need of a good manager. You can’t tell me Captain D’s doesn’t know the condition of this restaurant. We won’t ever go back.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IVE EVER EXPERIENCED!! The Rude cashier Shonda was on the phone with her car company the WHOLE time!!!! I stood there for about 10 mins before she even acknowledged me!! Then when I left she just handed me my foot and continued her conversation on the phone!!! Will be calling corporate because that's ridiculous!!

Could't eat inside. Air-conditioned was out. We ate in the car. Food was very greasy. Not crispy like it should be. Felt almost sick after eating some of it. Threw it away. Long johns is better and crispier.
The hush puppies were not very flavorful. The greasy food was sickening. Baked potatoe was overcooked and I could not eat it. The slaw was not cold. I was afraid to eat it...warm slaw? If I could give them below one star, I would. This place needs to be inspected.

My most recent visit with Captain D's at the drive-thru was very pleasant so I drove back by after my mother had ate her meal and she wanted me to make sure that I drove back down there and told those young ladies how great a job they did on her food so I did and then one of the young lady said make sure your mama writes a review and I said well she's a little challenged on that because she's got dementia it was lucky just to get a pleasant couple of words but evidently this was the day to do it and I think the ladies and here's my review I think you're awesome keep up the good work !

My fish was spoiled. I already took a few bites before realizing. So now I am worried about food poisoning. The shrimp were also spoiled. The tails were brown and hard and the shrimp itself was so tough. I threw everything away. You guys are a joke of a fast food restaurant. And the cost of the menu items are atrocious. Do better or close down.

Was craving fish fry; went through the drive thru. Employee working the drive thru was courteous, polite and helpful! The food was hot, crispy and delicious. Doesn’t get much better!

Please more thoughtful of the time people wait at the drive thru we had to wait almost half an hour for our food,
Because a drive thru is supposed to be fast paste at least that's I thought when I wen't through the drive thru!!!

My son and I drove through the drive thru.I found out my sandwich didn’t have lettuce.I called and the manager said they were out of lettuce because the lettuce they got on the truck was brown.She sounded irritated from the beginning and sent me directly to her GM.The GM had the same bad attitude and explained the truck situation.I told her I’d bring it back.She said it would have to be within 24 hrs and with a receipt.I said I had to get the receipt.She then said only the person whose names on the card (form of payment)could bring it back for a refund.I stated that’s understandable but if they could tell us they’re out of lettuce beforehand that would save us a lot of time.The phone hung up.I called back and asked who I was speaking with.She replied the same person you hung up on.I never hung up the phone and was continuously called rude for hanging up.I called them back.Why would I hang up then immediately call back?The customer service at the Chapman Hwy location is horrible.I won’t be back.
