Am just going to stop eating out to fast food. Food just isn’t food anymore it’s not good anymore. Am eating on a piece of fish and I felt something run down my finger am like why is a liquid coming out my fish? Annnnnd my food was done before I could pay. So, that really puzzled me I’ve never experienced that so, no more Captain D’s for meeeeeee. Not the one on Merchant Dr.

Went to the Captain D's merchants road. Drive-thru is good the food was not so good. The fish sandwich that I got it wasn't fresh. And the coleslaw was not fresh at all it was spoiled. Tried to call and no one answered and there wasn't anybody in the place.

My sister & I ordered lunch today through GrubHub. Our driver got here fast & our food was hot. I haven't eaten here in a while & was surprised how small the portions are now. As you can see in the picture. This was $15.88 plus an uncharge of $1.29 for the okra. No tarter sauce(I even called & asked for it), no silverware, and 1 napkin. The bag wasn't even tied for safe delivery. It was good, though. My sister got the fish and shrimp(hers was missing a hushpuppy). It sure isn't like it used to be, though. Don't know if it's because I got delivery & you get better quantity if you eat there. It was almost $45.00 for 2 people.

Visited on September 2nd in the afternoon. No one else inside and 2 cars in the drive thru. I stood at the counter about 30 sec. and a young lady came up, swiped a card thru the register and I thought I was about to be waited on. No, instead she put on a headset, another young lady from the cook area said that there were 2 in the drive thru and that she was going on break. The girl at the counter started looking into bags and saying she was lost. At this point it had already been about 3-4 minutes and no one had even acknowledged that I was there. Had someone said, "be with you in a moment" or something similar I would have probably waited, but no, it's as if I were invisible. I have noticed in recent months that a lot of fast food establishments with a drive thru prioritize the drive thru over the dining room.
I've only been to this Captain D's once before and received excellent service so I hope Monday's experience is not to become the norm.

Ate there on 8/25 in the evening. They have a great crew, got the food out really fast and it was really good. Very friendly manager and employee at the register.
