My husband and I are lunch there today (Sunday 12/7/25) around 12pm. I would have given at least four stars for overall but the ice box dining room made my decision to only do one star. At first when we went to sit at a table and felt cold air coming through the vents we thought the A/C was on which would be crazy since it's in the 30's outside. There was an elderly lady sitting not far from us and she was shaking because she was freezing while she was eating. I almost left my husband to go to gabes across the parking lot and buy a jacket for her but with how busy gabes was she would probably be gone before I could get back. The lady at the front counter told my husband the heat was completely out and then we heard her tell the elderly lady they had a portable heater but it was out of gas and they haven't gotten anymore for it. The lady working was nice, the food was like warm but good but the dining room was colder than it is outside. If they can't get it fixed right away they really should put gas in the portable heater or close the dining room down. The few customers in there were all complaining. We also waited for almost 20 minutes for our food which as I said was good but Luke warm.

Come on, it’s 23 degrees outside and you have no heat? People waiting for 30 or more minutes! Orders not correct? Captain D’s it’s this kind of stuff that is making your customers leave for good. If you’re going to have a restaurant, do it right. BTW $16 for a 3 piece fish and drink is outrageous.

Food has been excellent every time we've gotten it! My only slight gripe is we never seem to get a consistent amount of shrimp lol sometimes we get the garlic butter shrimp and we get like 10 and sometimes we get like 40

I ordered 2 pc fish with slaw. Got 2 pc with fries, no slaw. Specifically ask for some crunchy bits, got 0. Ask for vinegar & cocktail sauce. Got tartar sauce & cocktail, no vinegar. Specifically ask the server as she handed me the bag if she put in vinegar. She said she did.

Disgusting!!! Waited forever for food to be ready, no flavor and cold...only good thing was the baked potato. The food is really bad...never again!! Really has gone down in the quality but up in price..

Young man at front not at all friendly. Food soso but overpriced. If I have to pay almost $3.00 for a drink, could you have Tea available? No unsweetened tea in dine room. Asked young man at front..he had no unsweetened tea. How about offering to make some? A month ago, there was no lemonade. Definitely will consider not eating here again or will bring my own drinks.
