Highly recommend this coffee shop. Service was excellent and drinks were superb. There aren't many places you can go nowadays where you can get an actual mug while dining at a cafe. Thank you Capybara!
Capybara is in a great location near campus and a nice spot to meet or study.
However, the staff is extremely rigid about orders and doesn’t allow customization. I like espresso with just a few ounces of milk and often order iced cortados at other coffee shops, but was told they could only make it hot and they wouldn’t accommodate me to get my desired drink. Another time, I ordered a V60 with a light roast and was told I had to either get a medium roast...

The best coffee shop in Knoxville. To counter a previous poor review, the owners are in fact Brazilian. No cultural appropriation happening here. The coffee is high-quality, sourced from Brazil, and always consistent. The barista’s go through an extensive training process to be the best at what they do. 10/10 experiences experience.
