I have to say it was real real good pretty much everything was right on point. I've seen a lot of Mexican a lot of Spanish in San Diego, Texas Mexico City. This was a really good restaurant atmosphere beautiful if I was gonna change one thing the menus the menus are absolutely impossible to read the next time that I go I will absolutely ask for it to go menu and pray that they have it. It's like purple and black if I recall, but it's just really hard to read and I've got 2020 vision, oh and the guacamole on the menu says it's made with this that the other thing and Himalayan salt there's absolutely no salt in it. They serve you three packets of salt salt and I don't wanna make my own guacamole. It was not good guacamole but everything else was great. I get why they do it, kind of but no so because the menus are absolutely painful to read and that salt if I could takeoff a half star, I would only takeoff a half star, but I can't give them a perfect score of those are two really big things that will be back

Amazing! Absolutely unexpected gem--Driving by, killing time and decided to try Cataleya! I had the fish tacos and they were superb! Lightweight, tasty and the tortillas were phenomenal. My husband had the ceviche and to his surprise, it so delicious! Coming back ASAP!

This place was recommended to us and we finally came for lunch. Hubby had a vegetarian dish cantichanga and I had 2 street tacos (barbacoa & Al pastor) on a corn tortilla. Everything was delicious and we can't wait to come back. Our waiter was wonderful as well. If you want authentic Mexican food, this is the place!

The atmosphere is Cataleya Cantina is amazing! Our server was also very accommodating, and the food was great. My brunch burrito bowl was good, but the food my friends got was better.Parking: PlentyKid-friendliness: As a kid i found plenty of options.

Excellent food. Very hot and tasteful. This is not your hole in the wall Mexican restaurant. It's a step up for sure. Service was good but not great . Will certainly recommend.

Slightly better than the average Mexican restaurant in Knoxville. I live down the street from this place and wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.

First time here. Street tacos and gorditas were perfect. Everything was clean (including the men’s bathroom!). Staff was pleasant and attentive. Will definitely be back.

We stopped in for lunch and really liked the vibe of the place. It' feels more like an upscale Mexican restaurant. The decor was colorful but unique- artsy. We were seated right away and a girl brought over the chips and salsa. Our server, Juan, came right over and took our drink order. We ordered our meal when he returned. Our meals came out quickly and were fresh and hot. I ordered the lunch Cantachinga with rice, refried beans and guacamole salad. My husband ordered the lunch #6- chicken enchilada and chicken soft taco plus rice and refried beans. The salsa was delicious with just a hint of heat. We both enjoyed our meals a lot. Juan checked on us just the right amount of times and was super nice! He was a great server! There was snow on the ground today but they have a nice patio area when the weather is nice.we will definitely be back!!

One of the more authentic Mexican tasting restaurants in Knoxville. The drinks and tacos are solid. The only place that I'll order tacos de lengua from because they make them just right with a dash of spicy salsa.
