Northshore: Food is Great, the owners are awesome, the cook staff and servers are amazing. But, the daytime bartender is sweet, adorable....and clueless. 3 different times (for carryout) she had no idea what our basic english words were...no, she's not Spanish, she speaks english. I have no explanation, other than ..you can look right at her, speak, and she's just glazed over. Wrong order or request..THREE DIFFERENT TIMES. Now, we all just feel bad, and won't go...
We ordered takeout online, which is convenient and the order was ready when indicated. Not many places can do that, so props to them for achieving that. The food itself was average. We had 4 entrees, which were all different. Two of the entrees weren't prepared as ordered. We could've checked the order before leaving, but we shouldn't, in our opinion, have to do so. The flavor was nothing special, but the salmon protein bowl had an artificial smoke flavor to it....
Cazzie's is our favorite anniversary spot. Excellent food, top notch service. My only complaint is they tossed the cloth napkins for paper. At these prices, I expect cloth napkins. A minor quibble, tho. The food is wonderful. Rich and filling, excellent presentation. Staff are on point (shoutout to Grace as an excellent server, ask for her). Almost full on a Wednesday night, but some tables available. You'll want a reservation for most nights, this place fills up. Not...
