Been in E.TN for 10ys. BBQ scene is pretty disappointing for being in the south. Saw this place a few years ago by friends house and smoke smelled good driving by. HOLY CRAP ITS GOOD. Several visits and it's always awesome, and CHEAP compared to most food places. Pulled pork is insanely moist and the sauce is sweet. When my budget allows I got to get ribs some time.

It's a BBQ shack. The best BBQ comes from Old rundown shacks where the flavors are soaked into the walls. But watch out for the hours. I advise you call before going.

Pulled BBQ: Good smoke flavor with a nice bark. Comes with slaw on to, just the way it should.

Cabbage & Sausage: Tasty and almost healthy.. almost ?

Ribs: Not much meat. Good and not dry, just not very meaty.

Hush Puppies: Finally, a decent pup, unfortunately no fish.

PROS: Good BBQ, good sauces, plenty of sides, price

CONS: Take away only hours (if you want supper, you have to buy early and reheat), ribs could use more meat?, deviled eggs are OK

Parking: It's a small lot next to a smoke shop

Wheelchair accessibility: All gravel and a step in front

The food is good but ive worked next door for a year now and everytime I try to order they decide to close for no reason. They are only open 3 hours a day so it's not like their open all day. If you work in the area don't rely on them for lunch. Also the food is never ready when they say it is. They also answer the phone just to tell you they are closed.

There was no one at the BBQ shack itself. The only people there were two hateful looking elderly women who stared at me nonstop through the door of the tobacco store. Aweful experience, and no BBQ anywhere to be seen. Very sad.

How this place stays under the radar is beyond me. It has to be one of the best BBQ restaurants in Tennessee.

They have french fries that taste like they're cooked in the smoker. They are delicious

Best pulled pork in Knox County! Great prices and generous portions.

Pretty dang good food if you can catch them the 3 hours a day they’re actually open.

Best BBQ I've had since I lived in Texas. Sometimes these little shacks have the best food. You pull up, and their smoker is just out front doing its thing. Great lunch place, especially if you work in Asbury. The pulled pork is delicious.

Awesome food. Ate there several times. Lots of food for your money. Every thing is always fresh.♡♡♡♡♡.

Great BBQ and done right. I don't go to any chain restaurants for bbq sandwiches anymore because it is a big letdown once you taste Clantons. Absolutely no way to adequately compare Clantons to anyone else. It would be an easy win for Clantons. Update: Today I tried the ribs, and they were wonderful! Going for the Polish sausage the next visit. Love this place.
