Ordered a large to go order for my work team. I got the spicy chicken sandwich with fries and nuggets. The Sandwich was mixed up with a normal non spicy. The nuggets were burnt. And one person on my team didnt recieve their 2 sides of hushpuppies. We work 25 minutes away so cant just return for some hushpuppies that should have been included. I just trashed my non spicy chicken sandwich and burnt nuggets since that wasnt what was ordered.

Absolute worse experience. Husband walked to order food for me while I was at the hospital next door. When he got there he ordered and paid cash, they did not give him a receipt but he noticed the man infront of him probably took his order so when they called that man’s order my husband politely told them that he thought the man in front took his and this was that man’s. They basically then required a receipt and treated my husband like he walked off the street trying to get food for free and refused to make it at first. The woman who took his order and gave him change didn’t even say she recognized him and he had just paid like a minute before. She even gave him to much change back and he gave it back in fairness. Worse experience we will not be back!

Being from Florida we don’t have this place readily accessible. Food was okay. Burger is still number one, but the chicken has gone to the way side. It now is a premade patty not an actual piece of chicken. Menu has a lot on it and the main thing is doesn’t tell you what comes on it. Everything comes with Lettuce,Tomato, Mayo and Honey mustard just on chicken.

It's by far the best place late or during the day to eat in Knoxville TN
Went through the drive-through tonight. My total was almost 10% more than what it said on the menu. Had to say something twice before the person told me, “Oh ,well our prices have gone up. We just haven’t changed our menu.” That’s a scam! If you haven’t changed your menu, how the hell can you change your prices and not even tell people? And on top of that, they were rude about it. This might work with the 19-year-old kids on campus that use daddy’s credit card. Cookout has always tried scamming people. They routinely up charge your drink without telling you and expect you not to see it when you order a tray. It’s just shady business.
