D & B's Hot Dogs and Ice Cream

Such a good hot dog! I love the fried bratwurst, the skin has just the perfect amount of snap to it. I get mine with just mustard and chili but the menu has so many options.
The thing that always strikes me is that the owners and employees always thank you for coming in and I truly feel like they mean it. You could make a cheaper hot dog at home, for sure, but they really want to give you good food at a reasonable price and they want you to know they appreciate you giving them your business.

This place is SUCH a gem!! Best dogs in Knoxville, but don’t sleep on their burgers and brats too. Everything is delicious, and the staff are so kind and you can tell really love what they do.

Try a 3 Pork Cuban Dog. Its their normal cuban with a healthy sprinkle of pulled pork and an extra slice of swiss! I come into town to visit family and have to get one every time I'm in TN!

For the second time half my order was left off and what arrived was soggy and cold, except for the slaw and potato salad that was supposed to be cold as to be safe to consume! I spent 100 dollars first tine and 70 second. Went hungry.

I've only been here once so far but I was extremely impressed by the service and the quality of the food and may have been served the best hotdog I've ever eaten. The bun was perfect, perfectly toasted, the hotdog itself was fantastic, and the toppings were great, as well as the slaw and potato salad. This place seems like a hidden gem.
