Not a smoky barbeque. Sauce isn't fantastic either. Strictly okay. Would eat there again in a pinch.

I was super excited to try this place for the first time. It was disappointing. I ordered bbq sandwich, and over half the bbq was burnt/dry. I also ordered a side of okra that I didn’t receive.

My son and I got the loaded baked potato with pork. I was very happy the entire time I was eating. The potato was hot and cooked through, just the way I like...no crunchy bites of potato. It is a little out of my daily commute, but I will definitely go back.

Unfortunately, not the best experience. This is the second subpar experience I have had, and I won't be returning to this location. Perhaps I just don't understand the online ordering process, but I submitted an order online and pickup time was indicated as 1:45pm. The website did not update to show the status of my order, so I waited and arrived at 1:45pm. There was no one in the restaurant but the two young ladies working there. They were sitting in the back chatting. The order ticket had not been taken off of the printer. I might as well have ordered upon arrival. This cost me more time, and the young ladies offered no explanation. The food? Average at best.

Went to Dickeys for dinner with my family and paid $50 for room temperature meat and mac& cheese. The soft serve machine was already turned off and being cleaned over an hour before they were to be closing. The workers were rude which is no surprise after speaking with the owner/ manager to get refunded. Possibly the worst meal I’ve paid for and even worse service and compensation. Will not be going back and will tell friends and family not to either.

Meat was room temperature when served, macaroni was so dry it looked like it had been sitting under a warmer for days, ice cream machine was being cleaned over an hour and 15 minutes before closing time. Contacted management and the manager essentially accused me of lying when I said that the meat was not served hot. When I asked for a refund, the manager got extremely defensive and would only offer me a 50% refund. He said that he could not refund my credit card remotely, so I had to come back to the store the next day. When I came in to receive the $24 refund that I was promised, the cashier handed me a $20 bill and said “he told me to give you this.” When I asked for the rest of the promised refund, I was told that I had to wait for the manager to come back. Once he returned, he walked past me, grabbed $4 from the register and handed it to me while walking back out without making eye contact or saying a word. I will not be back.

We have been to Dickey's multiple times and usually have pretty good experiences. Unfortunately, this will be the last time I go to the Dickey's in Hardin valley. For starters, the meat and the mac n cheese were room temperature. I did not want to send our food back due to the time it had taken to get the food already and the fear of the employees doing something to the food when it is sent back. Also, I usually go to Dickey's for the free soft served ice cream. But with over an hour and 15 minutes to go before closing, while my family was still eating, the employee started to clean the ice cream machine. We asked the employee if there was a way for us to get ice cream, and the employee continued to clean the machine and said that they have ice cream in the back - which was frozen solid - definitely not the soft serve that we were expecting. The employees were rude, and I can see where they get it from after getting touch with the manager. The manager insinuated that we were lying after we explained that food was room temperature. Customer service was terrible, management was awful and did not fix the situation, and food was not worth what we paid for it. We will not be back.

Ordered online got there to get a $17 cold sandwich look like the bag came out of the garbage can I had to insist that they owed me a drink. The pulled pork tastes like salts been dumped straight out of the Morton salt container onto it unedible. Other than that it was perfect. I wish I had more hands so I can give it four thumbs down.

It is ridiculous when you go in a restaurant and order ahead of time because you only have an hour for lunch and your order is not ready and because of the line they say you are going To have to wait a while for your order to be made because it has not even been started and it is 10 Mins past pick up time. They will not even cancel Order for me in store they tell me to go to the app which the app has no option to cancel because it says the order has already been handed to me. What customer service.
