This inconspicuous food truck is hidden away next to a hair salon in Halls and it is truly something special. Very authentic Mexican food from southern Mexico (not Tex-Mex). The tortillas are handmade from blue corn (at least the day I went). I had the pork ribs with rice and beans and they were outstanding. They specialize in mole, which I’ll have to try on my next visit. They have a few outdoor tables under a tent canopy. It rained cats and dogs while we were there but we stayed dry and still enjoyed our meal and conversation.

I finally decided to try this place and it does not disappoint! I have been back nearly every day because it is that good! Everything is homemade, down to the blue corn tortillas and the sides of sauce she offers! And for 3.50 per taco, you cannot find anything better in the area. Do yourself a favor and go support this small business! You won't be disappointed!

It's a GEM! Flavors are off the chart, spicy if you want it that way, and homemade everything. Try this place over any Mexican place nearby and it won't disappoint.

You can tell it's legitimate when they make their own tortillas. I'm sure they make the sauces too which are very tasty and the red sauce has a serious level of spice. The meat has a lot of flavor too, which is a good meter of any restaurant - I'm a big fan of Al Pastor and it's outstanding.

It was hard to find a place this good in Texas and for it to exist in Knoxville is a gift from god. It's a refreshing exit from tex-mex meat covered in cheese - it's real food that you can actually call authentic.

Best tacos in Knoxville by a long shot! The blue corn tortillas are made by hand in the truck! Serving size is ridiculously large. Chorizo con nopales and asada are the two best tacos, in my opinion. Her mole is amazing as well. My husband now refers to her as his "taco lady" and will drive 20 minutes to get her food. Try it! You will not regret it.

Best Tortillas in Knoxville! The pork is fantastic as was the lengua. Great Service and the green and red salsa were also very good. I recommend the pecaledes. Give this place a try. FYI even though googles says they are closed on Thursday, they are open.
