We were sat, and after over 20 minutes of no one coming to our table to so much get us water, we decided we were over it and left. Multiple servers and bussers passed our empty table and no one bothered to ask if anyone had come to check on us. Bussers and servers were too busy playing on their phones, fiddling with rubiks cubes, and taking pictures of empty beer glasses with other staff for fun, but we couldn't get anyone to check on us or even bring us water. So we left. Unbelievable.

Food was great but service could be more attentive on drink refills or just checking in with the table.

If you're a sports fan looking to enjoy a game with fellow enthusiasts, this is the place to be. We stopped by for dinner after a hike, and it was packed with people wearing orange! We were fortunate to find the one table that was open and got seated fairly quickly. There were TVs showing the game everywhere, so every seat offered a good view. However, if sports aren't your thing and you're hoping for a nice, quiet dinner where you can chat, it's best to check the sports schedule and skip this spot. It was difficult to hold a conversation with all the fans and their emotional outbursts. LOL.
The service was slow but friendly whenever a server came around. The food was pretty good. We started with Gene's Wings, accompanied by traditional hot sauce and Thai garlic sauce. The wings were tasty but quite small, so if you're hungry, don't just order six. The hot sauce was as expected and delicious, but I wouldn't recommend the Thai sauce. I'll skip that one next time.
I ordered the Mushroom Swiss Burger, while my partner chose the Chicken Pot Pie. The burger was decent but not remarkable. I often know a burger will be average when they don't ask how I want it cooked--it's usually just smashed and well done. On the other hand, the pot pie was excellent and a generous portion. The crust wasn't overly sweet, and my partner, who is quite particular about pot pies, really enjoyed it.
Overall, it was a good experience, and we'd consider coming back if we're in the area.

Great food. Got the boneless wings and jalapeno cheese sticks. Flavourful and saucy. Recommend the house sauce for the wings!

Walked over to this double dog's location. After exiting dunkin' donuts where we bought a frozen coffee. We walked over double dogs to get something to eat cuz it's raining and we're waiting on our Lyft driver to show up. We had a good 30 minutes to kill so we decided to get something to eat. We were told by the manager Brandy that we could not come in and eat because we had a frozen coffee from dunkin' donuts and they do not allow outside food or drink, but they do not serve the frozen coffee in which we purchased at Dunkin donuts. So we're left standing outside in the rain. Neither one of us wearing a jacket because Brandy could not make an exception to a corporate rule for an item that they do not sell and double dogs. By the way, I would not recommend this location. The service is sloppy and the management apparently has no authority whatsoever. So if your food gets messed up you're just going to be out whatever money you paid for it because the manager left on duty isn't capable of overriding any rules

Queso was amazing but the Philly steak sandwich didn't have much meat. It was very tough and very very bland

Double Dogs (Hardin Valley)
Our family has always enjoyed Double Dogs in Hardin Valley — the food is consistently excellent, and the service is usually warm and attentive. During our recent visit, the food was, as always, wonderful, and our server was phenomenal: attentive, kind, and professional. Unfortunately, the interaction we had with one of the managers overshadowed the otherwise positive experience.
My grandfather is a frequent guest at your restaurant, always enjoying great meals and service. He also participates in your rewards program and was due for a free burger. During this visit, he had trouble redeeming it. One manager initially agreed to honor the reward, but when we went to pay, another manager said it could not be applied because corporate policy limits it to a specific burger — the “Bo-Burger.” This was not our understanding, and my grandfather believed it would still be honored.
After checking with the general manager, the second manager agreed to make an exception “this one time,” but her manner was condescending, making my grandfather feel as though he was trying to take advantage of the system — which could not be further from the truth. My grandfather even offered his phone number so the rewards could be verified in the system, acknowledging that he didn’t have his phone to show the code.
Rather than resolving the situation graciously, the manager argued with us at the table and repeatedly referenced corporate policy. I expressed that while policies exist, there is always the opportunity to make things right, especially for loyal customers. Her demeanor remained unprofessional, and when we ultimately chose to pay for the burger, she made snarky remarks as we were leaving.
To add to our confusion, the Bo-Burger and Jalapeño Burger are the same price on the menu, making the restriction feel unnecessary in this case. This interaction was disappointing, especially given my grandfather’s long-standing loyalty, frequent visits, and positive history with your restaurant.
We left feeling disheartened, not because of the policy itself, but because of the dismissive and argumentative way the situation was handled. Loyal customers deserve to be treated with respect, and this experience was far from the standard we have come to expect from Double Dogs.

In what world are twelve chicken wings supposed to be $20? That is insane. They’re not organic. They’re not farm raised. They’re not free range. They’re literally purchased from Costco frozen and then deep fried. I felt as if I had been robbed.

The food is great. This is a nice chill spot, outside is pet friendly, and it looks like you could watch a ball game here.

Fun sports bar atmosphere. Service was great, but the breakfast dog was a little more chaos than I was expecting.
