I went to El Mezcal 6 years ago and hadn't gone back because my wife doesn't like legit Mexican food. Well the Mrs. went out of town and I finally got a chance to go again. My three tacos were pretty big and delicious. The service was excellent, the restaurant was clean and the bathrooms were also clean. I will be going there more often and dragging the wife there.
Lovely little spot that we found on our road trip. Stopped there for a quick lunch, it’s really cute and colorful inside, the service was excellent and the food was reasonably priced and delicious.
I've been to a lot of Mexican restaurants up and down the east coast, but this establishment was the best I've been to! I ordered the Texas fajitas over rice, the cheese dip with chorizo, and their happy hour margarita. The vegetables were fresh! The dip was on point! The margarita hit the spot! But something else caught my attention while I was sitting to enjoy my meal...they are a part of the community! Example: There was a young man that walked in asking for a bag...
