My wife and I have lived in the Farragut area for over 20 years. Elkmont Station restaurant was phenomenal in every category! The ambience, service, variety of entree's and last but not least quality of food. If you’re looking for the highest level dining experience, I highly recommend this restaurant!

Elkmont Station is, hands down, our family’s favorite restaurant in town! We have never had a bad meal or experience at Elkmont. The atmosphere is beautiful, the servers are fantastic, and the food and drinks are phenomenal. Brunch, lunch, and dinner are all amazing. I can’t say enough good things (clearly!). You must try Elkmont Station!

From the moment we sat down we had great attentive service. The appetizers were delicious. I got the papardelle balognese and was delight as to how good it was. Some other dishes at the table was the bone in pork chop and the short rib gnocchi and everyone loved them. Finally do not pass up on the crème brûlée

I went to Elkmont Station for the first time since moving to Farragut. The food was very good, the atmosphere was upbeat. The staff was attentive. We ordered two homemade pasta dishes (short rib gnocchi and pappardelle bolognese) both were delicious. We also ordered the vanilla bean creme brulee which is one of the best I have ever had it was so fresh! The only thing I would recommend is to have a better selection of wines. Overall, it was a great experience with great food.

No bread. Small portions. Domed ceiling makes it VERY noisy. Unable to have a normal conversation with a table of four.

A nice place. Virtually almost nothing for vegetarians and the one thing I tried the pasta dish - spaghetti with parmesan was not any good. It was just so sopping saturated with Parmesan that just really wasn't enjoyable at all and didn't have a good texture. My friend loved the trout though and said that it was excellent. She also loved the IPA, but I thought it was humorous that it came in a can and they made a big deal of pouring it in a very fancy flourish to allow the vapors to volatilize.Vegetarian options: There is nothing there for a vegetarian at all that is edible or at least enjoyable if you can choke it down. So if you're a vegetarian and you go with others who are not, forget it. Best to go go somewhere else where everyone can have a good dinner.

This was our 2nd visit to Elkmont Station last Saturday evening (2/3/24) to celebrate my Bride's Landmark Birthday. I'll get to the food later. My biggest takeaway from this visit, in addition to the first, is that this is a professionally well-run restaurant. The Manager is constantly walking around checking on customers, assisting the bus people to remove finished dishes, checking on potential "choke points" to ensure customers are receiving their drinks and food in a timely manner. For a while, I had a seamless, wonderful dining experience like I have experienced in larger restaurant markets, i.e., New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Atlanta, Miami, etc. Congrats to Elkmont Station for having this Manager on their staff. She is marvelous. For food, we had drinks and the Cheese Board at the bar. Excellent. We requested and were granted seats at the Chef's Bar. Our server was Caleb and he was very helpful, prompt and not intrusive in any way. My Bride ordered the Short Rib Gnocchi which she thoroughly enjoyed. I had the Low Country Bouillabaisse. From the Chef's Bar, I was able to see the careful preparation and the final product was phenomenal. The young chefs were professional, tended to their specific tasks and were engaging when I thanked them for their precise attention to detail. Overall, a very enjoyable experience that far exceeded our expectations. It was the best birthday gift I could have given my Bride on that evening.

This past weekend we decided to try out Elkmont Station. From the minute we set foot in the door, we just loved the rustic vibe with the dimly lit chandeliers, wood ceiling and the buck head adorning the back. We were seated at one of the comfortable booths and taken care of by Caleb. He took really great care of us and was so helpful in his suggestions, as the whole menu looked fantastic. We chose the hush puppies and the Caesar salad for our appetizers. I highly recommend the hush puppies and the accompanying roasted poblano aioli sauce was divine. Skip the Caesar salad, because with the kale it just wasn't the same. For our mains, we had the coq au vin and the pappardelle bolognese. The coq au vin was a delight of flavors in my mouth, the red wine and the tender chicken just utter perfection. The pappardelle bolognese was delicious as well, but could've used more ground short rib and nixed the carrots. We were so full from our meal, that we skipped dessert. But we definitely will be back to try more of their distinguished menu. And special thanks to Caleb again!!

The restaurant was beautiful. The service was great! The appetizers was the star of the show. The chicken eggrolls were amazing and the French onion soup. I got the Lamb Shank. It was good, but the mint was overpowering. My husband got the ribeye… it was a little overcooked. He got rare + and it came out medium. The citrus was very overpowering on his dish. We will be back. The only complaint I would have is that the restaurant lighting was very bright for 8pm. They needed to dim the lights.
