Went with a friend today. Been a while since I’d been and thought I’d give it a second try.I got the AM burger with fried okra and sweet tea. I liked the tea. Not too sweet. And the okra and burger were pretty ok but the patty and the okra seemed like they might have been frozen and not fresh. The food wasn’t bad but my meal being over $20 just doesn’t encourage me to return.Parking: Small parking lot that I had a hard time pulling out of even with my small car. Mostly due to being surrounded by larger vehicles.

Southern comfort food at its finest! First of all, the food is WONDERFUL!!! The service impeccable and our server, Eddie, made us feel like we were at a friend’s place trying their killer food. He brought a sample of their beer Mac n cheese. It was outstanding. We’ve never had better at a restaurant and never heard of using beer cheese. Fresh battered okra and collards were perfection. We both had the chop steak. We loved it so much we considered stopping there again on our way back through Knoxville and inviting guests. This is our new favorite restaurant in Knoxville!!!

No gumbo until next winter. I've been there twice this week. I had the special on Monday which was beef tips and gravy over your choice of rice or mashed potatoes and two sides. I chose mashed potatoes and my two sides were collard greens and fried okra. Everything was delicious.On Wednesday, I had a cheeseburger with fries. It was very good.I highly recommend this place and will return myself.
Amazing staff, owner even came out and greeted everyone. Eddie was amazing, food was delicious, and they even had a water bowl for our frenchie! Wish we lived closer as this place was awesome!

Oh my gosh! I wish we would have found this place sooner. The food was so good we went back to try more things the following week. I had the French dip special and it was amazing. Everything was flavorful and melty. The Brussels sprouts were hands down my favorite. My husband had the burger, which looked awesome, but I was too full to try. Also, don't skip the dessert! The chocolate cake was to die for. Our server was attentive and always kept our drinks full. He was helpful in recommendations and super friendly despite the lunch rush. It's a small place, but decorated with lots of knock knacks to keep your eyes busy while you wait. Parking can be a pain, so just be careful backing out.

Get the fish & chips!! Loved this place. My husband and I came here from a recommendation from our Air BnB Host and they were not wrong! The food was superb! I wouldn’t normally order fish and chips but so glad I did! And Eddie was such a dear as our server, he was kind and informative. The atmosphere is great, but will be even better with warmer weather and they have their live music nights!

Best smoked buffalo chicken wings I've ever had! Burger was cooked exactly like I asked for it, Med-Rare! And, crispy potato fries! Everything arrived hot and timely! Great staff that explained things clearly. And a great selection of atmosphere, from outside by the ?, on the patio, to inside! Will definitely be back!
The vibe, food, and service was just perfect. The server was kind, and the food was absolutely delicious and perfect as well. And the atmosphere was clean, well styled, and very comforting. Definitely a new go-to restaurant!! ♥️

Fabulous little southern style restaurant near the UT campus. Fried white fish filets were delivered to the table pronto and everything was piping hot. The Cole slaw was amayonaising! Just like I like it. Our server was the bomb! Perfect personality and charm and our Valentines date was a night to remember because of Matty. When you go to Emma's Southern Kitchen be sure to ask for the server who looks like Buddy Holly!
