Family Meal: Private Chef To Go

AMAZING food! He cooked for our group for two nights. Everyone loved the food!

Chef David (owner) provided an *immaculate* private meal for my (now) husband and I for our private post-elopement dinner.

He ventured all the way to our rental property with all the necessary ingredients and tools to prepare the meal, and cleaned up after himself when done. We spent months curating the perfect Mediterranean-esque menu for our special dinner and Chef David executed far beyond our wildest expectations. The freshest seafood, herbs, & produce, and the most flavorful meal we’ve possibly ever had. We even learned new cooking techniques that we’ll take home with us.

It was absolutely the perfect meal. Chef David even worked around our dog who was very interested in all the yummy smells.

I truly can not rave enough about David! He was always on-time, extremely flexible with us, and made THE best food for our incredibly large private event group. We'd take him everywhere with us if we could and if you're looking for a private chef, we'd recommend him without a doubt!

Danielle, David, Gabby, Max and Thomas are so fantastic to work with! The food is incredible and the service is immaculate. Family Meal is who you HAVE to book for your events. No ifs, ands or buts about it.

Chef David and the Family Meal team are the BEST! We used Family Meal for our wedding weekend (both welcome dinner and wedding) and we didn't stop hearing how great the food was from our guests! Chef David and Danielle helped us curate the perfect menu for both events and were so patient and helpful with all of our questions. There was even a massive snowstorm the weekend of our wedding and there was never any concern on their end, they always reassured us that they were going to be there! I can't recommend this team enough. They were fabulous and all the staff was so kind!

Delicious meals for family gatherings or one person family weeklong meals :) when I don't feel like or have the time to cook. Also does not come with the awkwardness of going into restaurants where 99% of people are sitting down and you want a to-go order.

We hired Family Meal Knoxville for our company Christmas dinner and it was such a memorable experience! They curated a delicious menu and the presentation was next level! Highly recommend

Everything we read looked great, but the hours on Google maps is not correct.

We stopped by around 4 and everything was black. No listed hours on the actual front door.

I thought this would be a walk-in place, but I must have been mistaken.

I give 5 stars for all the great reviews though.

Thank you to Chef David, Danielle, and the entire Family Meal team for the incredible experience for our daughter's wedding at Nichols Heir. During the entire planning phase, including an amazing menu tasting throughout the event, they were attentive and available and prepared a delicious meal and out-of-this-world desserts.

Chef David and the entire Family Meal team did such an incredible job at our wedding. The food was delicious and their presentation was beautiful, we've received constant compliments. They also made us breakfast casseroles for Sunday morning which were a hit. Danielle was so helpful in the planning process, she had so much patience answering all of my questions and really wanted to make sure we got what we wanted. They were very concious around allergies and dietary restrictions and did an amazing job planning ahead and having great alternatives for those guests. I would use and recommend them over and over.

Chef David catered my wedding last night and went above and beyond. I think to organize my review, a list would be best:
- The layout and aesthetic of his job was beautiful! He uses cast iron skillets for serving which looks beautiful. His table set up was absolutely beautiful and clean.
- The food was delicious! We chose chicken breast and thigh, and my mom kept saying it was the best chicken she’s had. The sides were delicious and the salad was overflowing with toppings. There was plenty of food for everyone.
- Servers were professional and extremely helpful. Without even asking, they helped set out cocktail hour food (it was a minimal amount, but so generous of them!) and they helped cut the cake as well, which again, was unexpected but very generous.

Overall, I’m so happy with the service and food provided and would definitely recommend this company!

Impressive. Great food and a very fun workable space with a humble and home like feel. Very friendly and fun spot to be.

Chef David, was absolutely amazing with the catering for our family reunion in Gatlinburg, TN. He helped prepare Brunch, Lunch, and Dinner for 115 people over the course of 4 days. He was easy to plan and communicate with from the start to the setup each day. I would highly recommend him and his team for catering an event or a gathering for a well done and stress-free experience.
