We were so disappointed upon entering Famous Dave's. It is our go to place in the Nashville area. The location in Knoxville was dirty, with used trays stacked on almost every table. No host/hostess at the front and the bathroom was just not clean. We left without ordering!

I ordered the ultimate and did not get the pulled pork on my burger. It ended up being a regular burger with bacon. The Togo server was very nice and made sure I had silverware and sauces but unfortunately my order was not prepared properly. ?Updating my review. I called the next day I was able to speak with someone. I received a replacement meal. This is what I was expecting. It's delicious and it has everything including the pork and sauce. I was able to eat my meal.

It was just ok. Was in the area(I'm from Chattanooga) . The FD here closed. The food was decent. I thought they had shut down. The grounds needed maintenance. We almost left. Lol!

Ordered 3 meat combo with 2 sides.Sides were average, I ordered the fries and slaw.The catfish fingers were excellent, Georgia pork was near excellent and the Wilbur revenge wings were melt your face off spicy. Definitely recommend the wings.Waiter was quick to refill drinks and was very friendly. Food was prepared in a reasonable time.Atmosphere was just okay, nothing special but the food and staff make up for it.

Everything was phenomenal. I was coming off on a long road trip from Detroit, MI to Atlanta. I knew exactly where to go. This was my 1st time dining in at this particular location. When i first arrived, there appeared to be a staff shortage due to the wait in the lobby for a few minutes. Josh was our waiter, he explained there was a little bit of a wait, due to being short staffed. He preceded to seat me. As i waited, he offered me fresh warm cornbread muffins, which were great by the way. He took my drink order, then informed me additional staff was coming in to assist with providing services. He then brought some more amazing muffins, took my food order, and kept checking in to provide additional water, and to see if i needed he anything. I’ve never experienced such PHENOMENAL customer service, even while having a staff shortage, i would have expected to wait much longer. His customer service, and professionalism is unmatched. He deserves the biggest raise you can offer, and whatever else you can do to thank him for such an amazing dining experience. The food was delicious!!! I will certainly be back to this Famous Dave’s, whenever I’m in the Knoxville area. Josh amazing job again!
It's been a little over a year since eating there because the brisket was like rubber.Thought I'd give it another try.It was even worse.It was a to go brisket dinner and too far for me to go back.I did call and speak with the manager, she offered another dinner free of charge.No, not eating there again.

This was my first time trying Famous Dave’s coming from ATL my hubby put me on cause he use to eat there in this hometown in Detroit & OMG it was so delicious & we had the best server , Fresh cornbread muffins those things were to die for , We had feast platter & fried shrimp everything was phenomenal will definitely go back when I’m out in Tennessee . We also had plenty of leftovers

We have never been but my kids were craving ribs so we gave it a try. Wasn’t impressed before we even got in the door. The parking lot was covered in garbage and there was even a shopping cart next to the door from another store. Was hoping to smell bbq walking in but except it smelled of on old musty barn inside. There was food splattered in the walls and it wasn’t from today since I got there at opening. The lights above us were covered in so much dust. Seemed the place hadn’t been cleaned in months. Watched the server clear the table in front of us and sat another guest there without even wiping the table. My kids ribs were all bones and fat and my brisket was so salty I couldn’t even eat a bite. Definitely never going back
