Honestly have no clue how this can be close to a five star restaurant. We reserved our table at 6pm and didn’t get our food until 730. Long story short, cut the prices. If you’re going to charge that much for food you damn well back it up. The surf and turf was delivered cold, carrots were under cooked, and the list goes on. I know it’s under new ownership but if it were me and the food has always been this way I would have never taken over this restaurant. If I were you just order the burger and beers. It the only thing this place is good for.

Wish I could say it was great, but I can't because we were totally ignored when we came. Bartender was enjoying the game day recap, and the music may have been good, it was blurry loud, so not sure

The bartender was overwhelmed. We were at the bar. The tavern was very crowded, not a problem. There was one bartender to handle dozens of people on one end, another around the corner of the bar. He really needed help. Another bartender on Friday nights would be helpful.

No open bar or soda besides one type, the cottage pie was okay. The onion gravy was fantastic

Let me start by saying that the atmosphere and decor is quite lovely. It is nicely decorated to compliment the historic building. The service was good, but what I found dissappointing was the food they were out of. At 6pm on a Friday they were not busy. I was stunned that they were out of the cheddar biscuits. Then one of our party tried to order bangers, which you expect to find at an Irish restaurant, but they were out. They only have 3 desserts on the menu and they were out of the creme brulee. I can only imagine that they are having trouble ordering and budgeting under new ownership.
From what we did order the scotch eggs stood out as very good, but everything else felt average. I do appreciate the owner coming over speaking to us and a
Accommodating our request for a kid's cheeseburger since it was not on the menu.
Also, they should consider having a drink menu with cocktail specials or a signature drink. Maybe an Irish coffee?
There is so much potential here. Maybe we came on an off night?

My friend and I had lunch there on Thursday 7/31. It was awesome. The food was delicious and our waitress, Breona was wonderful. Have recommended it to all my family members.

Had dinner with my family last night. Very slow service, Had only one server working and had no bar service. Food was okay but not great. Neat venue, but a little weird having a dentist office in the lobby.

What happened? I understand new ownership and new chef. Went in tonight at 7:15 PM hoping to eat. Not a hostess not a bartender not a waiter or waitress in sight. It appeared as both bars were closed as there were cups over all the taps. There were a few people in there, but nobody to be seen. The floor was sticky and seemed as if it hadn’t been washed in a long time. We left after a few minutes and went to double dogs. This used to be my favorite local restaurant pub.

My mom and I went to Finn’s tonight for dinner. The atmosphere is GREAT and everyone there is incredibly welcoming! BreOnna was our waitress and she did a phenomenal job serving us! Incredibly polite, helped us pick out what we wanted to eat, and provided great service. Ben and Will, the new owners both took time to visit our table or stop to say hey and ask about our experience. They provided above and beyond customer service. If you haven’t been yet, you better get there ASAP because you’re missing out! Thank you so much for a great dinner experience BreOnna, Will, and Ben! We will see you again super soon!

Although the time online showed they opened at 3 P.M. they actually open at 4. They went ahead, seated and served us which we really appreciated. The Cajun chips were great. I had Finns Reuben which was delicious and the corned beef was not fatty at all. The bread and 1000 island was on point as well. I will be making another trip here if I am in the area again

Came for dinner tonight and the food is bland. The menu options have been depleted. The prices are too high and the new owner doesn’t know how to woo his guests. The only reason I’m giving one star is because it’s close to our house. Never coming back sadly. The staff morale seems low, their personalities are gone.

Wishing the new owner luck! several people walked out as soon as they realized it was under new ownership, which is what we should have done.

The live band was great. But for what we have seen our expectations were a little higher than what they offer.
