Firehouse Subs Hardin Valley

I don't like leaving negative feedback, because we all have off days. However, when the issues are consistently off at one location, the negative feedback is earned. This location fails every time I eat there, to ask if you want your bread toasted (saving them time). They also fail, every time I eat there, to provide or have available large drink cups (both of which I've mentioned are standard at every other location). Thirdly, they always ask if you want a pickle, where other locations just include one. All three of these tactics seem to be to benefit the restaurant with time, and overhead, which leads me to believe that management may have instructed staff to make these changes. It's a bit infuriating to spend $20 for a sandwich, soda and chips and consistently get ripped off (because that's what it is, if it's being done intentionally).

Food is consistent with other locations, however it’s not a good look on the employees to be cussing every other word while talking badly and gossiping about management and coworkers..

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I walked in, friendly. They make my two subs. While they are making it one of the kids is on their phone the whole time. I see multiple flies landing on the hanging signage..I come home..my subs didn’t have what I asked for on it. How do you even forget the mustard that already comes on the sub? This really bums me out.

Firehouse offers gourmet hot and cold sandwiches that are well-seasoned, fresh, and satisfying. The Hardin Valley store has some really great people working there! There was a miscommunication about which sandwich I wanted and it was my fault for not checking before we left, but when I called them I was told to just bring it back down and they would make the correct sandwich. All of them were friendly and quick. My son loved the pizza meatball sub. But the large was TOO big for him. I think their Italian sub is phenomenal with the pepper sauce added to it. A large is definitely TWO meals for me! And you can never go wrong with the Freestyle machine in the dinning room, they're my favorite machines for drinks with MORE than just soda and tea.
