Firehouse Subs Cedar Bluff

Walked in, waited for three minutes while nobody else was in line, 16-19 year olds behind the counter noticed us standing there and kept talking and socializing without greeting anyone. Waited three minutes while they awkwardly glanced at us a few times and continued to ignore us. Avoid this location. No management present at the time. I would have fired all of them.

I’m here writing this review about a bad experience instead of eating a sandwich.

Called at 8:41 to place a pickup order and was told they don't except pickups after 8:30 since they close at 9pm. I said, "ok I'll be there in 5 minutes" and a guy replies, "ok, see you then". I arrived at 8:47 and the sign was off, door locked. No doubt in my mind he immediately closed the store EARLY when I said I was on my way. Looked like a bunch of kids working but I assume a manager had to be present, and that's just sad.

Had to stand at the counter for a really long time. I could here the empolyees in the back having a great time but no one was watching the counter for customers. There was a camera pointed at me and everything. I Finally had to shout into the kitchen to get someone to come help me.They the young guy that came out didn't seem to care I'd been waiting a long time. Bad service.

Food is good as usual. Was asked if we wanted extra pickles and we said yes. Got home and we had NO pickles with any of the sandwiches.

They were rude a little bit! Not used to serving people of color! Won't be coming back! Trying to help the fire department first responders! What's the big hype is not all that good!

Poor customer service. There were three young male employees working behind the counter when I walked in to order a sandwich at the Cedar Bluff location. #1. They did not welcome me into the store with the usual “Welcome to Firehouse” I get at other locations. #2. They ignored me while I waited to place my order (and I was the only customer in the store at the time). When they finally “realized” I had been waiting, they did apologize but it didn’t seem sincere. #3. They were making extremely immature comments loudly while making my sandwich. #4. When they called my name, I thanked them and got no response. I don’t leave reviews often, but I felt like I needed to say something here in this situation. Learn some common courtesy and simple customer service skills. Also, there was a hair in my sandwich.

I have tomato & onion allergies and the Uber Eats App let me choose my toppings. Can't you guys READ orders?!?!?! NO ONIONS & NO TOMATOES... guess what was on both my sandwiches?!?!? ...and then when I call, a person by the name of Evan or Devon tells me that the order came in as (2) Hook & Ladders with everything on it. I am glad I checked, because it could of ended badly (for me). You lost a customer!

WARNING! The sweet and spicy sub is EXTREMELY SPICY. There is absolutely nothing sweet about it whatsoever. I’m able to eat Buffalo spice no problem and I couldn’t even take a whole bite of this. So unless you are used to eating fricking ghost peppers, do NOT order this thinking it’s going to be sweet and spicy because it’s not. It’s not even enjoyable. That’s my only complaint. Everything else here is awesome.

I had a worker named Shane mess up my order. I ordered chips and salsa and received chips with ketchup. Consider my disappointment immeasurable. Management needs to make sure its employees are trained and equipped with the tools to better server their customers.
