i've been on a mexican cuisine kick lately so wanted to check out another mexican spot in my neighborhood and i have to say i was very underwhelmed so im going to stick with the other mexican spot near me. overall the food wasn't that tasty here and very lackluster. shrimp - the shrimp itself were under-seasoned and so so tiny al pastor burrito - this was super disappointing. the pork was dried out and tough to eat. this is my go to mexican dish and i was sad it didn't fulfill my craving steak quesadilla - this was decent but i've definitely had better. steak was cut into thin and thick pieces but they were tasty. if i had to order something again this would be what i would pick onion rings - i thought because they were homemade they'd be extra fresh but i was underwhelmed. reminded me of the onion rings you get at burger king not big and crispy as i was hoping side of rice - they say you can tell if a mexican spot is good if the rice is flavorful and this rice did not cut it for me. very dry and lacked flavor and seasoning. most of my stars are for timely service and getting my order correct but if we're talking about tasty food that hits your craving spot, this place just wasn't it for me

We were visiting from Southern California and missing our usual Mexican food places. I'm so glad we discovered Franco's. Authentic food, wonderful service, great environment. Everyone was happy with their meals (nachos, burritos, hard tacos). The specialty homemade sauces were unique and a nice touch. The highlight was the dessert - churros with vanilla ice cream. The BEST churros we've ever had! Filled with dulce de leche and perfectly crispy outside with soft inside.

One door closes and another door opens... This has been an article of faith for most of my life, proved to be true once again when the restaurant I had driven to Palmyra, NJ, to try their Thai kitchen was closed l, and I scrambled to find an nearby alternative. My trusty Yelp showed me Franco's Cafe was only about a quarter mile away up Cinnaminson Avenue. Found it, parked in their side lot, and walked in. Franco's is a Small Mexican casa, with half dozen tables, fairly standard menu and specials on a blackboard near the cashier. Daniella was my server. She was exceptionally friendly and said she was part of family ownership. Made sense, because she was totally engaged in keeping me in fresh brew coffee and whatever else I needed. As a first timer, I went with something basic - steak quesadilla. It was excellent. Small strips of grilled beef, cheese and jalapeños, with small salad and sour cream, all crammed and flattened into a large tortilla cut in quarters. It was a healthy chew with just enough spice to keep my mouth fired up. The blackboard alerted to the presence of churros and ice cream as a special dessert. Love me some churros, and indulged. They were hot, crisp and fresh; filled with a ring of caramel inside each fried strip of dough. Hot! So hot they deserved a warning, but the burn was extinguished by the Java accompaniment. Yup. Delicious, too! There are full platter dinners available here, too. If you live in the area, it would be worth your effort to check them out along with their lunch and snack choices. Franco's is a casual and tasty 5 Star experience.

Ok I m in Palmyra NJ looking to buy a TV stand on Facebook market place. Yes pinch the wallet when you can I'm addicted to the market place. However I'm starving so Yelp here I come. Found this Mexican place and punched it into my GPS. My GF and I pull into this little strip joint with maybe 3 stores and walked in very skeptical since only 8 tables. We were greeted by the only front person working (Chris) who was a very polite young man. Just his attitude and kindness put us at ease. He immediately gives us three homemade sauces in small squirt bottles along with chips. After looking at the menu I agree with the reviews, it is a tad above normal prices. I ordered a $15 chimichanga and my GF ordered a small chicken taco salad $8. Out waiter Chris brought out the food and the Chimichanga had the soft shell. I prefer the hard shell but it depends on the cook and what region he is from that determines the shell. The tomato sauce on top was sweet and tasty. The shredded beef was done perfect. The mini chicken taco salad was also fresh and delicious. Once again Yelp and it's members came through for me. All in all the flavors were excellent, the portions were perfect and I did not mind the price it was worth it. Total food with 2 waters was $27

By far the best Mexican food in the area. Everything I've ever ordered is delicious. My favorites are the banana boat and the shredded beef enchiladas, which I cover in their amazing guacamole sauce. I'm a repeat customer who will keep coming back!

Absolutely LOVE this place. Their quesadillas are DIVINE. Now, their prices are a little steep, but in my opinion that's fine by me if I'm getting quality food. This is no Wawa-quality "Mexican" food, this is straight up amazing food. And the fact that they sell the Mexican cokes and sodas make it that much better. If you're trying to avoid weight gain and trying to save money, I'd suggest saving this restaurant as your treat at the end of the month, but if you're going the full shameless rout, this is perfect for a weekly Friday/Saturday night takeout. Highly suggest their Tres Leches cake as well. Franco's never disappoints!!

I go in I order gravy biscuit Army sausage biscuit for me and a gravy biscuit for my friend we get through eating it and I realized I didn't have enough cash to pay a bill so I simply asked the manager if she could give me change for $100 bill she look me Square in the eye and told me if you order something I said I just did no you have to order something else I said are you kidding me yes we just don't give out change here this lady was the worst example of a manager that you could ever find she's a black lady and I'm be willing to bet you by the conversation I heard her have with her staff if I was a black man she would have given me change the since I was a white man she wouldn't give me change obnoxious racist unacceptable
