Hands down the best tamales I’ve ever had - that’s including a stint down in Texas in Austin. Have yet to have anything that comes close. When friends or family visit Knoxville, this is the first place I recommend. Get the Chicken Tinga paired with the Calabacitas and thank me later. Real Knoxville gem.

The is my top favorite place to eat! If youre visiting Knoxville I highly recommend you give them a try! I love all of there tamales but the Chicken Curry & the Queso Poblano have to be my favorites.. trust me I have tried them all. They are best served with a side of their famous collard greens they also automatically will come with a side of salsa! The Food is AMAZING and the staff is always giving off good energy!Parking: Parking is the same for most downtown Knoxville spots you park in a garage/lot and pay or you can park under the bridge for free regardless you do have to walk about 1- 2 minutes to the entrance.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly forsure but depending on what your kid eats I probably wouldn’t bring them to eat tamales!Wheelchair accessibility: This location is will chair accessible!

This is one of the best places in town. Best food, best people, best everything. Recently we had a mix up with my order and they bent over backwards to make it right. Four Seasons-level service. And I have known people to fly in to town just for these tamales.

Went in skeptical, but after looking around and observing the place I started feeling better. After I carried my three giant tamales to the house, and started eating them with my wife I tasted that they were some of the best tamales I'd ever eaten before! I will be running back there again in the near future for round 2!
Yes! Cool place! Great tasting food. Vegan tamale and black beans for me.

So many good options in the Old City and this is honestly hard not to pick every time. The chicken tinga is incredible and the side salsa is so tasteful. Drink options are plenty as well.

Me and my family love this place! From the quaint homey feel. To the amazing tamales and sides. To the extremely nice staff. It is always a great experience. We also love their fairly large unique drink cooler that has something we can all enjoy. We also love that they have Tamales for the meat and non meat eaters. It's the one place we always stop for a visit when downtown. Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: They have vegan sides and tamales. Perfect combo!Dietary restrictions: Perfect spot for Gluten Free and Vegan needs!Kid-friendliness: They are always super kind to my daughter each and every visit.

We happened upon this place while passing through Knoxville during lunch, and we've been talking/thinking about it ever since. Really incredible little gem with delicious food and beautiful ambiance. The tamales are amazing and I remember the beans also being really flavorful. We are planning a trip down South in a few months and I'm trying to figure out how we can plan to drive through Knoxville again...
