The chicken was decent for the price, definitely not the best but it wasn't terrible. The lids for a drink to-go do NOT fit, so be careful having it in your car.
Really good southern style food. I got the dark 3 piece with the baked beans. I forgot my hoodie, realized and went back inside to get it. Bumped into the worker running out with my hoodie, that's the type of place Gus's fried chicken is.

This was our first time trying Gus'. Enjoyed the food. I chose the leg and thigh plate with beans, slaw, and added mac & cheese. No complaints. Slaw was creamy with the right cut of cabbage. Beans were savory, thick and not runny. Mac & cheese was very Cheesy. Chicken was hot & juicy. Staff was friendly and attentive.

The atmosphere and service was PERFECT! Our waiter was very nice and it took no time to get our food out! I picked the Mac n cheese, it was great but I think it was alittle too thick for my liking. The chicken seemed to be on the dry side but the seasoning on the breading was good.
