Breakfast was spot on this morning and the prices are very reasonable. My daughter had a half order of biscuits and gravy and loved it. I ordered a bacon and cheese omelette and it came with white toast. It had good flavor and I liked it, I just wish the bacon was chopped into smaller pieces. I also ordered a side of hash browns and they were great. I would recommend coming to enjoy a nice breakfast

I love a good Cubana sandwich. Unfortunately they do not have one. Someone said that this is "true authentic food" and I've been to Miami many times and eaten in several Cuban restaurants and this is not what they serve. One and done.

My son introduced me to this place. Now when I'm in town it's a regular stop on Wednesday mornings before school with my oldest granddaughter for breakfast. Oscar and his staff are amazing and the food is always excellent.

We need more Caribbean flavor in Knox, so I was excited to check out this Cuban Cafe. They have a variety of options, of course the rebel that I am, I did not go with the most usual option which would be the Cuban sandwich, which looked delish! I had 2 chicken empanadas and 2 steak empanadas. The chicken ones had amazing flavor! The steak meat was literally burnt, so I didn't finish eating them. I would have like the empanadas to be more on the crispier side but I did like the size of them, not too small. The papá rellenas (stuffed potato balls) were to die for. Hit the spot! The maduros (fried plantains) were on point as well. Small joint that has potential.

My friends and I absolutely love this place! Oscar and his team are so friendly and really make you feel like part of the family. My most recent outing was during a surprise snow storm(I had to be out and about for work), and while most businesses were closed, Oscar made sure that even if some employees were late due to travel conditions, everyone had a hot cup of coffee and a warm place to hang out.I'll see Oscar out and about while he's shopping locally for his ingredients, and he is always quick to offer a smile and a hug.Now for the most important part: the food. If I could recommend one thing, PLEASE get the Cuban coffee. You can thank me later. Aside from that, you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu, and I've had most of it. Whether you are wanting an American breakfast or true Cuban cuisine, Oscar's got you.

Been meaning to try Halls Deli/Cuban Cafe for a good while, but tend to eat late & make note, they close at 8pm, but if you get up early & want breakfast, they open at 7am. I love a good Cuban Sandwich & that's what I ordered. I would give it an 8 out of 10 compared to all the Cubans Ive ever had. It has sliced pork & I prefer pulled pork, but that's a common variance among Cuban Sandwiches. It didn't come with any sides, but they suggested to order a large order of fries to share for about 3 bucks which was plenty for 2 people. Total bill for 2 was $23 which nowadays is great for 2 people, especially since it's not fastfood! Friendly, bright & clean, seems like maybe family run business. Overall, I give it a 5/5 & you should definitely try it!
