This was my first time visiting Honeybee Coffee Co! The industrial design and elements, such as the light fixtures, adds a cool and unique touch to the atmosphere.

I was especially impressed by the roastery room available for customers to view as beans are roasted in house! Unfortunately, when I arrived there were none roasting, but I’d love to come by again to watch the process. There was also an outdoor patio that I plan on checking out next time I visit.

Looking at the menu, although there were some seasonal options available, the overall selection was pretty limited. From the financial perspective of the company, I can understand there are probably multiple reasons why a limited menu is helpful. However, I would’ve loved to see more options for add-on’s such as syrups or a wider selection of alternative milks.

I ended up ordering an iced latte with brown sugar and macadamia nut milk. It was delicious! I will for sure be back to this shop when I’m in town.

Just found a Great coffee Roaster in Knoxville. Plenty of seating with a wrap around bar. The outside looks like an old garage so you can pass it right by and be unaware of it. I tried a Cortata and a Chai tea, both were Great. Also got a egg and bean wrap which they make here. It was fresh and delicious. Parking is tough but worth being patient to find an opening. This just may be my new favorate cafe in Knoxville at this point. Try it and Enjoy. They Roast their beans on site.

Honeybee Coffee Co. is, without question, one of the finest coffee establishments in the Knoxville area, if not all of eastern TN. Their commitment to high-quality beans, precision roasting, and expert preparation places them in rare company. This isn’t your mass-market, over-roasted, charred brew…it’s nuanced, clean, and bursting with complexity. The kind of coffee that rewards a refined palate and a genuine appreciation for what world-class coffee should taste like.

As I came to give them the glowing review they deserve, I noticed some reviews comparing their brews to “tea” or claiming it lacks strength…those opinions are a reflection of an untrained palate, not the product. If your benchmark is Starbucks, Dunkin’, or gas station drip, Honeybee’s clarity and balance might seem foreign. But to those who understand the art and science behind truly elevated coffee, this place is an absolute treasure.

If you’re new to Knoxville, or visiting for the first time, I assure you that this place will be a reminder of how exceptional coffee can be when it’s done with intention, expertise, and care. Honeybee is a must-visit for anyone serious about their coffee.

I wish they have coconut milk. No whipped cream either. Less selections for coffees. Service is ok.

I ordered what I always get at coffee shops. They seem to only have one size and it was expensive for the size. It was not very good. Weak flavor.

Disclaimer, I’m a pretty big coffee snob and only drink espresso based drinks. I don’t drink coffee drinks with flavors or sweeteners.

Stopped here on a Sunday afternoon to grab a cappuccino to go! (Which I normally prefer to sit and enjoy it when I visit a coffee shop). Thr atmosphere was great and I would have been more than happy to post up here for a few moments. In this area it was one of the only proper coffee shops that was open at 11am on a Sunday.

First, it was the correct sizes. My cap was 6 oz. If I visit a coffee shop and they ask me if I want a “small, medium or large cap”…. I’ll leave.

Second, The milk temp was on point, wasn’t napalm.

Third, The espresso was strong and flavorful, had its own unique flavor profile which was unlike anything I have had, but it was still super enjoyable and I’d absolutely come back here.

I travel all over for work and add good coffee places to my own bookmark list. This made the cut. Definitely will come back!

This might be my new favorite coffee shop! The atmosphere was great, with ample seating for a rather small building and several comfy chair options. The barista was so nice and helpful when I asked about alternative milks. I loved that they offered BOTH sweetened and unsweetened almond milk. Their food looked great, and their apple latte is to die for. It is such a pleasant surprise to have so many syrups available all during the year. I didn't see too many outlets, so it seems more like a great date/social coffee shop rather than a working space. Warning, the parking is a nightmare. There are few spaces they share with a restaurant but they do offer parking across a (very busy) street though. There are also several tight corners and such making navigating the lot a little nerve wracking. Ultimately though, the coffee and vibes make the parking worth it.

Awesome atmosphere and staff. The espresso though, unfortunately, is below decent.

Loved the cherry turnover and the coffee was delicious.

Honeybee Coffee is a local gem with serious coffee chops. Their cortado is one of the best I’ve had—perfectly balanced, smooth, and never too hot, which shows they know what they’re doing. It’s my go-to order and consistently excellent. The shop has a relaxed, creative atmosphere and the staff are always warm and welcoming. Whether you’re a coffee nerd or just want a cozy place to unwind, Honeybee delivers every time.
