Wishing now that they never would have closed the location in Johnson City. I miss the papa joe sandwich so much that I braved college football game day during my son's soccer tournament to go and get us both a sandwich. If you have never eaten at a Jason's deli your missing out. They give you free ice cream anytime you eat inside and their salad bar is usually on point but this virus made it to where you have to have them make it for you. Which is totally fine, but...

Fresh food and friendly service!! Thebline moved quickly and I was pleasantly happy to see that there was someone handling the salad bar, to keep customers safe from this virus. I was super enthused to get extra pickles with my sandwich AND free chips!! This was DEFINITELY a good option to stop for a quick bite to eat on the road home.

The staff was very friendly, helpful, and patient. The restaurant was clean and warm compared to the weather. I was surprised how empty it was being so close to lunch on a big university campus for a Thursday. The food was good, although the sweet tea was not as sweet as I had hoped.
