The food was great but the older lady that works the register is always rude and sarcastic when taking an order. I go to this location often and the only time I ever have a negative experience is when she is working.

I recently visited Jimmy John's on Paper Mill for the second time, and unfortunately, it will be my last. My first visit was marred by rude and unhelpful employees, and my second visit was no different. The older, grey-haired lady with glasses who took our order was extremely snide, sarcastic, and rude, making me feel stupid for simply ordering a basic sandwich. When I requested a sandwich with meat and cheese only, she made me feel as though I was in the wrong for not knowing some obscure detail. As my wife and I were getting our drinks, we overheard both the lady and the gentleman with dreads who prepared our sandwich talking negatively about us. Despite the delicious food and clean establishment, the poor service and disrespectful comments ruined the experience for us. If you're looking for a friendly atmosphere, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Standing at the counter over five minutes still have not been greeted. Slowest customer service from a jimmy johns ever. This is ridiculous. Three employees in sight not one of them has spoken a word to me standing at their front counter for over five minutes.Update: Stood at the front counter for a total of ten minutes without be spoke to at all by any of the employees. Two people behind me left after watching me wait in front of them without being acknowledged by any of the employees for the first five minutes I stood there. Finally after ten minutes I spoke up and let the guy who seemed to be management know that I had been standing there ten minutes without being greeted at all. He apologized very flippantly and said they don't have enough employees. There were three employees. That's not enough to greet a customer at the front register?!! So you let them stand there for ten minutes? Horrible customer service! If that manager/shift leader can't do better than that when apologizing for poor service then he needs to get a different job. I know for a fact that they want them to greet any customer that walks in within 30 - 60 seconds which is industry standard. Any one of the three employees present at the time could have looked up and said welcome to Jimmy John's we'll be with you as soon as we can.

Best wraps in Knoxville. I haven't tried anything else but my friends vote this as the best place for subs. The front register is always crowded, makes it hard to get your chips. I didnt have to wait too long for my order. Limited seating but they do have a few outdoor seating places.

Unfortunately, JJs as a chain has eroded both quality and value. Staff seems uninterested and are frustrating to deal with, while food is often disappointing. At ~$14 with tip for a single sandwich delivered is hard to justify when the bread is rock hard and toppings are sloppy.

You know what Jimmy John's sub is what it is. It's not incredible gourmet but it is a decent sub sandwich. What prompted me to leave this review was the service received from Dalton. For 5 minutes that I was there, we chatted briefly and he can make one heck of a sandwich. Very personable. Thanks for making my bad day turn around with our chat Dalton.

I placed a catering order for a 30 piece box on a Friday. The following day I arrived at the time the sandwiches were set to be ready. I was told at the cash register that they would start on it. 10 minutes later I was told it would be impossible to fill my order because they had too many walk in customers. They made no attempt to figure out the situation and left me in a tough spot. I do not understand why the sandwiches were not made earlier because they had plenty of advanced warning. I attempted to contact the GM through JJs and got no response.

Wonderful experience! Stopped on a roadtrip needing some good sandwiches and a bathroom break and we were very pleasantly surprised! Friendly greetings, quick and attentive service, and super clean bathrooms/dining area in general. Highly recommend!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS JJ LOCATION!!!!!!!HORRIBLE ORDER ACCURACY AND THE MANAGER DOES NOT CARE!!!! HE SAID HE AND HIS ASSOCIATE WERE BOTH "CONFUSED" BY MY ORDER TODAY.I had a horrible experience with a tailgate order this past football season and said I'd never go back. I decided to give them another try today and it was just another horrible experience. Guy taking orders has no clue what he's doing and the manager simply doesn't care.

Food is like all Jimmy Johns. Good but pricey. However. The lady at the register has chased away everyone at my job. No one will order there now due to the constant attitude of this lady. The worst customer service I have ever had. Check my reviews. I don't speak this way about many businesses.
