This genuinely may be one of the best meals I’ve had in my entire life. I had to get the sampler, got the lamb, chicken leg, and beef rib. I cannot tell you which one was better because they were all amazing. Was not sure what sides to get and the cashier told me the plantains and jolif rice. These were the highlight of the meal. The rice was so flavorful and the plantains were the perfect contrast to the rest of the dish. There no reason to go anywhere else

AMAZING. The food? Perfect. The service? Outstanding. The owner is so kind and let us try some deserts after eating. He was so friendly and showed us how to eat fufu correctly. Love this place and will definitely be back.

I was really excited to try this place. I thought it would be really cool to have an authentic Ghanaian meal.
Took 4 times as long to get my food as my friends that went to 5 different places that had lines. I ordered and was told they were out of noodles, so I ordered fried rice instead. After about 15 minutes of waiting, I was told there was no fried rice. He did try to make it right by giving me some extra potatoes. Also, I'm pretty sure the majority of the food is in a warming tray, so it really shouldn't take 25 minutes to make a plate. After I finally got my food, the beef and lamb were almost inedible. I could hardly chew it, it was that tough. My plastic knife broke while attempting to cut it.
I ended up getting sick later the next day, but I cannot for sure attribute it to the food.

Kandilige Ghanaian Cuisine absolutely delivered! The peanut butter sauce was rich, flavorful, and comforting — truly one of the best I’ve had. I do wish they offered an oxtail or goat version, as that would make it even more amazing, but even without it, the dish was fantastic. The flavors were authentic and clearly made with care. I’m excited to come back and try more dishes. So glad to see West African cuisine represented like this — definitely a gem worth supporting!

I am not one to leave a bad review but I feel like I must. I ordered okra soup the other night. I was almost done with it and I pull out a big piece of metal out of my mouth, I stir the soup around and see another piece of metal in the soup. I stop eating and throw it out. I email the owner with photo proof and all he says is “wow I’ll have to check the oil sorry”. Well hopefully I don’t have a perforated bowel.

Super friendly people willing to give you recommendations if you don’t know Ghanian food. Lamb was a giant hunk of pure meat, and everything was delicious. Going again tomorrow to try more!

Finally made it there after months of threatening to go. I got the lamb and plantains, my wife got the chicken and jollof rice. She liked the chicken and rice, the lamb was amazing. Tasty and falling off the bone, and I found dipping the plantains in the leftover sauce was an amazing combination of sweet and spicy savory.
Will definitely be back!
As notedby others, it's a bit loud there, but we took our food to the tap room to get out of the hubbub.

Very authentic, cooked well, and delicious! I tried the lamb and plantains and they were both amazing. The meat was super tender and fell off the bone. Very flavorful. The plantains were crispy and cooked to perfection. Definitely want to come back and try more things!!

Food is TOTALLY worth the wait! There's was a bit of a wait for their noodles and I'm fine with it cause those noodles were AMAZING. Plenty of spice and seasoning. The flavors are so good. Def suggest getting the fried plantains to go with whatever spicy food you get. They complement each other so well! Good is obviously made with love and care. 💖 Looking to try something very new with a group of friends? Def get a sample platter!
