Galbi was good but the rest of the dishes were too sweet. The side dishes were not bad.
Have only been once, but the food was fantastic. I had the Seafood and vegetables and the Kimchi pancake. Will definitely come back again!
It was my first time here and I loved the food and atmosphere. We got the Bugolgi and the Seafood Soup(can’t remember what it was called) and It was better than I expected. Next time I come back I need to try their Korean BBQ!
The food is always great! I love the tonkatsu. The short ribs and pork bulgogi are also delicious. You really can't go wrong eating here!
This place was very good. I was a little expensive but it was worth it. The lady who served us was very sweet. The meat was tasty and satisfying
We had great wings and really appreciated their beer and other flights!
If you enjoy genuine Korean food, then this is a great option. The Korean style soups are out of this world great bulgogi great kimchi. We enjoy doing the Korean style barbecue or the hot pot it is a lot better option and more authentic than the new so-called Korean steakhouse off cedar bluff which frankly is a joke and it's overpriced. I've been eating with this lady for a long time the only thing that I would say is to focus a little bit more on customer service. Friendly service my wife and I were hungry for some of the soups walked in one hour before the posted closing time and she told us she was closed not good business!
Great food and service. Visit when in Knoxville. We eat at a lot of different Korean restaurants around the country and this one stands out. It also has a very laid back atmosphere and good spacing.
Stopped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. I have never had Korean food and it was great. Service was very friendly. Will definitely be back.
first and last time .tasteless, burned and very small portions.. the sides were the only thing that was decent .. not enough to go back .. Will find another Korean restaurant.
Restaurantji Recommends
I got the pork bulgogi over rice and it was so delicious. Serving sizes are more than generous and they serve you fast. I’ll definitely be telling my friends about this place!
It is a treat that I give to myself every week or so. Their food is always great as is the service. I usually get the Beef Bulgogi and really enjoy it. I highly recommend Kaya!
Awesome food. A favorite of ours
Kaya never disappoints! We've been going there for over a decade. Love it! Sides are always fresh, bulgogi is always good!
Tried calling hours in advance (MULTIPLE times) with absolutely no answer. Me and my boyfriend arrive, the restaurant is a complete mess (I’m talking at least 6 tables that were packed dirty that had been sitting there for a while without being touched). The owner didn’t come to seat us, she yelled from across the restaurant. When we told her we wanted to try the hot pot, she said “No you can’t do that” and didn’t offer us any other explanation. Keep note, all of the dirty tables were the ones for the hot pot dinners. Sucks, we were really looking forward to try and experience something new and it just ruined it for us. Don’t go here if you want to be yelled at from across the room, eat in filth, and not receive what you were looking for.
