Overall, wasn’t bad, but wasn’t what it was. Since Knoxvilles restaurant scene has improved, Kefi hasn’t evolved. 40 minutes from when we sat to get our first drink. Staff hanging out at the bar with no urgency, over cooked octopus, salad had too much dressing. Waiter couldn’t speak to the wine on a basic level. Probably will need a reason to go back - much better options in the old city in 2026

First time to visit. The food was very good, the bone in pork lollipops were delicious. The potatoes were delicious. The chicken was cooked perfectly. Our wait staff was not particularly friendly and we felt (although we honestly don't know why) that she was not happy to serve us and a bit standoffish and blunt. The drinks are all pre batched, which is not desirable to me. The wine I choose was solid. I would go back to try again and see if the service was any better.

Prices be damned, it is worth the money. I am picky when it comes to restaurants, Kefi has consistently exceeded my expectations. Park under the highway for free after 6pm or all day saturday/sunday and walk 2 minutes to this amazing restaurant.

We ate at Kefi Mediterranean in Knoxville yesterday, (12.30.25) and it was absolutely excellent. The food was fantastic, the drinks were great, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The service truly stood out—Hannah , our server, was absolutely phenomenal and made our first visit even better. Everything from start to finish was top-notch. This was our first time dining here, and we are already looking forward to going back. Definitely a fantastic restaurant—we will be back for sure!

We went today for dinner it was wonderful like always, grill octopus was delicious. Lobster Mc and cheese was the best! Great dessert! We had a great evening there ! New waitress was awesome!
Have always had a great experience here, but this time was disappointing. Our cozy booth in the back was very loud due to the music coming from the kitchen battling the very different dining room music. Gnats were a plenty, swatting them off our food and drinks. There was nothing special about the calamari (you could easily recreate at home) and the halibut was disgustingly salty, but the sides were very good.

Absolutely amazing experience. The appetizers, meals, and desserts were all fantastic. The atmosphere was upscale while remaining calm and comfortable. Our server, Kate, was extremely attentive, answering all of our questions, keeping our drinks filled, and bringing our food promptly.
There are many gluten-free menue options.
Reservations are strongly recommended. We will be going back soon.
