If i could rate just the bar i would give 5 stars, and the dining area would get 1 Star from me. What the dining room lacked the lounge/bar area has consistently made up for in service, price, and charm. Do yourself a favor and make sure you skip the stuffy, afraid-to-more-than-whisper dining room and definitely chat it up with the friendly and knowledgeable bartenders in the lounge. The charcuterie is really tasty and the wine has always been selected well for my taste! Love the decor in the lounge too. Great for cute selfies.

It's ok. The atmosphere is nice. Upscale feel. The tables are set to close for comfort. I bumped elbows with the lady at the table across from me.

Went for the first time the other night with former coworkers. We were seated quickly since we had reservations. I ordered salmon and the angel food cake dessert with extra strawberries and whipped cream (it looked like it was normal when it came out though). I asked for the sauce on the side of my salmon and one of the sauces came on the side but I guess the mustard they don't consider a sauce so it was spread all over the top. I scraped it off and the salmon itself was good and tender. So it was cooked well. Over done dry fish is not my favorite. I was a little disappointed that the asparagus wasn't even a serving and it was more of a garnish. It tasted fine but it could have been a bigger portion of it (2 pieces is not much). The orzo was also good. I didn't need as much as they gave me (I would have preferred more asparagus and less orzo personally). The dessert was fine. Nothing to write home about. I have made more delicious short cakes at home but I prefer more strawberries than cake and like to make the cake super thin sliced as an accent to the strawberries. I had to ask for bread and butter. Maybe that's normal at fancy restaurants but I would prefer it be offered at least even if they don't just assume you want it. My water cup did sit empty on multiple occasions. They were full/all the tables were taken as it was the day after Valentine's Day and it is not a large restaurant. Overall it was fine. On the more expensive side. I would have preferred a little better service for the cost as I always tip well. I would give it a 3.5 stars. I would come back and specify I wanted my salmon plain/without anything on it if it comes with mustard or sauce or something and order extra vegetables to at least have a full serving. Seems silly to go to a fancy restaurant and not even be able to eat some what healthy.

Amazing food. The waiter was so knowledgeable if the menu and made great recommendations. The bread pudding was to die for.

I really can’t say enough great things about this place. This has got to be the best and most accommodating service in town. The food is delicious and we always leave full but not overly stuffed. This place is worth every penny.

This place is awesome. For me and my significant other, our favorite place in Knoxville for food is Oliver Royale. We’ve been trying to find restaurants in town that are comparable. Well...WE FOUND ONE! The quality of the food here is great. Our scallops were cooked perfectly and the fish (mahi-mahi) was flaky and cooked super well. Everything was delicious and we left with full bellies and smiles! Our server Paulie is awesome and made our experience 100 times better. I was impressed by the attentiveness of the staff and with the chef coming out to ask us how everything was.

Our party of 11 was treated with excellence as we dined privately in the upstairs ballroom. Service was first-rate, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the wine and food. This was the second visit for two of us, and all said they'd gladly return.

I tried the roasted chicken with whipped potatoes and squash/carrots. The chicken was cooked perfectly. It was juicy and tender, as well as seasoned just right. The potatoes and squash were both cooked perfectly, and tasted very well too with great seasoning. My fiancee got the crab cakes, and they were great too. The crab cakes were cooked perfectly, and they were seasoned very well too. The sauce that came with the crab cakes was perfect complement too. Then we shared the dark chocolate bourbon cake, and honestly that was one of the best desserts we have ever tasted. I highly recommend Kitchen 919.

Came with a large group; meal was delicious, service was outstanding, coordination for the party was above and beyond (thank you Ann), appetizers were pre-set and artfully made (tasted great too), and the environment was overall wonderful, upscale, and quiet! Thank you. Will be back again.

Our Christmas office party was at 919 and it was fantastic. We had a private room upstairs which was perfect for our group. The appetizers were splendid, the salad was fresh and delicious, entrees were all tasty and well prepared, and dessert was excellent as well. Overall a wonderful experience! I would definitely recommend this beautiful venue.
