I have been watching some K drama horror series along with Culinary Class Wars on Netflix and it left me wanting to explore Korean cuisine. I have never had bibimbap but it’s always looked and sounded so delicious! My server was able to answer my questions about the spice level of the dish. I got the beef bulgogi. My food didn’t take long at all to come out and was nice and warm and looked delicious. I ordered some yumyum sauce to add and I put a few spoonfuls of the miso soup into my bowl as well. I didn’t use all of the gochujang sauce. I liked that it was on the side so I could adjust the flavor to my liking. The veggies were so fresh and the meat was tender and flavorful. It’s a large portion but it doesn’t feel heavy. My only slight “wish” was for the egg to be just a little more fried so that all of the white around the yolk was completely done and the edges of the egg would be crispy. I came shortly before closing so I wasn’t offered dessert. I will definitely be back because I want to try some lunch items and the kimbap. I love these types of places— unassuming from the outside with a great menu and food I crave. Thanks for my first (of many I’m sure) bibimbap!!

WAY overpriced.
Seems there's no place you can really eat anymore for a reasonable price. We spent $48 for lunch on 2 entrees and an ice cream.
I've lived in Japan and have traveled there a dozen times. I was in Japan twice last year. The food is FINE, but 2 tiny pieces of mediocre katsu and a HUGE pile of white rice is not worth $20 after tax and tip. In Japan you can go to Katsuya, a chain restuarant and eat about 2x as much food, 3x as tasty, for $5 UDS.
Heck, you can go to H mart down the street and buy a 6 pack of Katsu for $8. If you buy a 40lb bag, you can eat rice every day, 3 meals a day, for 6 months, for $50.
So when you consider that rice probably cost the restaurant $0.05, and the Katsu was probably $2, you pay $20 for $2.05 worth of food.

So happy we found this little gem. Not only is the food fresh and delicious, the presentation is beautiful. The ramen tonkotsu broth is very flavorful. We can’t wait to come back and try their other menu items and desserts. Our server is so sweet and offered great recommendations. You won’t be disappointed!

Jeek Kim is an absolute powerhouse of talent, leadership, and passion! His dedication and tireless work ethic shine through in every aspect of his restaurant. With a concept that’s deeply rooted in Korean cuisine while seamlessly incorporating select Japanese staples, he’s created a dining experience that is both authentic and refreshingly innovative. Every bite is packed with bold flavors, expert craftsmanship, and a clear love for the art of cooking.
But it’s not just the food that makes this place special—it’s the entire experience. Jeek has built a team that is just as passionate as he is. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, genuinely friendly, and beyond hospitable, making every guest feel like they’re right at home. Having worked alongside Jeek, I’ve seen firsthand his inspiring leadership, relentless drive, and ability to bring out the best in everyone around him.
If you’re looking for a restaurant that delivers top-tier Korean cuisine with a touch of Japanese influence—paired with outstanding service—this is the place to be! 💥

We had an amazing experience at this spot! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The food was absolutely delicious—everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The bibimbap was especially fantastic, with tender beef, vibrant veggies, and that perfect crispy rice at the bottom. The presentation was beautiful, and the balance of flavors was spot on.
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic and satisfying Korean food. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We loved our dinner at koko! The food was delicious and we can’t wait to go back.
Update: We went back for lunch. It’s a whole extra menu for lunch. Japanese curry, sandos, yubus, doburi, onegiri!!!! Everything was so good! The yubu trio was one of the best things I’ve tasted in a long time. And the katsu sando rivaled any that my fella had in Japan.

Unfortunately I had a really poor experience here on a Friday night. My partner and I walked in and stood at the door for 15 minutes being ignored by every employee. The restaurant was pretty busy with only 3 servers. None of them greeted or acknowledged our presence. We made the contact with multiple employees and were ignored. I understand they were busy but a simple “I’ll be with you shortly” would’ve been better than being ignored. This was just really disappointing customer service. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

Walked in for dinner. Stood at the entrance of the restaurant where the sign says “wait to be seated”. We waited over 15 minutes waiting to be seated and were not even acknowledged. Asked one of the chefs who is supposed to be seating us. He lets me know someone will get to me. I stand there a couple minutes more and walked out. 18 minutes in total, 0 seconds of general customer service courtesy. 10 thumbs down. Do better

This was my first experience with real Korean food. I tried the crispy shrimp bibimbap, which came with Miso soup. The soup was great and will be a really nice option the next time I want soup on a cold day. This also leads me to believe I would really enjoy the ramen. The crispy shrimp bibimbap was excellent. Admittedly, I have nothing to compare it to, but I really enjoyed it. Normally I am not much of a white rice person but the mix of everything together with the chili sauce and the sauce on the shrimp was superb. It will be a struggle to try something different next time when this dish was so good. The service was great and very friendly. I also enjoyed seeing anime on the TV when I sat down. I am not big on anime but it was nice to not see ESPN or a news channel on the TV. The portions were large but the food itself was light enough that I didn't feel sluggish after eating. This will be a great option for a date night or quick lunch. If you are looking to try something new or enjoy Korean food, KOKO should be on your list.
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance and parking spots that can allow easier mounting and dismounting from vehicles. The tables can accommodate those in wheelchairs also.
