Schwarma was the best I had at a Mediterranean restaurant and our server was knowledgeable about what I should avoid on the menu for my gluten intolerance.

First off, I am no āfoodieā but I have travelled all over the world and US. I have eaten many authentic cuisines and this isnāt one of them.
Iāve never taken the time to write a review on a restaurant but really felt like I needed to say this. We saw many great ā5 starā reviews for this place and people talked about how great the food is so we decided to try it out for our date night. We were sadly disappointed on an otherwise fantastic evening out downtown.
The restaurant was pretty empty for a beautiful fall Saturday evening at 5:30. Maybe three other tables were occupied. We were seated fairly promptly but then it took a good while for a server to even acknowledge we were there. Otherwise the service was āokā. My wife ordered the chicken shawarma and I had the lamb and beef ākabobsā. Neither entree had hardly any seasoning, (maybe salt and pepper?). The kabob wasnāt chunks of meat but rather ground meat threaded into a skewer.
Maybe it was an off night or maybe they just ran out of seasoning but we wonāt be back.
Also note they donāt have a full bar.

was told by staff that this is an Israeli restaurant. My understanding is that the owner chef is originally from Morocco, he is an award winner and that explains why reviews mentioned that his food is good.
I had the Lamb Shoulder which was a handsome offering of meat with a side of seasoned rice and a salad. It was cooked to order and tastefully seasoned. 10/10 would come again.

This place is so much better than Yassin's! Probably the tastiest Mediterranean food in the entire Knoxville area. Don't forget to try the babaganoush with pita! There's nothing else like it in Knoxville.

The chicken thigh plate was incredible! Most tender chicken I've ever eaten in my life, and the eggplant salad was simply amazing. Service was also great. I'm so happy to have come here. Highly recommend.

Love this place! The chef and staff are wonderful. We are regular downtown Knoxville residents and this is one of our top best cuisine experiences. They serve authentic Mediterranean cuisine, with dishes change based on seasons outstanding ingredients. Donāt miss the chefās special, always a great experience. The photos show the range of dishes. From salads, sides, and meats. The staff is always interested in making sure youāre satisfied.

Iāve never tried earlier such a mouthwatering falafel! It was just wow! So yummy! Humus was perfect, Moroccan tea is always nice to feel the spirit of Mediterranean cuisine! One love and I will visit it again soon to try other dishes!ā¤ļø
And the most important thing is itās halal and kosher food! Respect!
