There's a lot of good sales pretty reasonable prices very clean. Very nice and helpful employees.
Mother's Day. Three self-service lanes open, lines backed up into the aisles. Not one full service cashier in sight. This is why I never ever go to Kroger's anymore. It's a desperation move when you need a gift card and there is literally nowhere else on this end of town. Ugh.
Good prices on most products.... especially milk.
I had a good experience, decent prices and friendly staff
I have gone to this store as long as it has been in Ft. City. The employees are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately management has declined significantly. I wish Mr. Cavaleris were still there. He was a hands on manager who helped out in any area when needed. You NEVER see the new manager. I don't even know his name. There are NEVER enough cashiers, only 2 during holidays. Poor planning! Standing in line 15-20 minutes at times is difficult for the elderly and handicapped. For the last 8-10 weeks the store has been out of Mayfields 2% milk. They only have a small slot in the refrigerator unit and it is on the bottom rack. It is difficult for elderly and handicapped people to retrieve the milk this low. Also the parking is ridiculous! There wasn't enough parking to start with and then they built a gas station taking up more space. Now there are more pickup spots than handicap making a much longer walk to get in. If all the carts are in the lot that is another trip to the parking lot. As much as I have loved shopping at Krogers for over 40 years I am seriouly considering changing stores.
There are two Kroger on Broadway in Knoxville and I shop at both. The Kroger in fountain City is a very nice store, every employee is always smiling and helpful to customers. The other across from Cecil avenue and Broadway is also a nice store but the shelves there are always bare, other than that and the prices at both I have no problem. Inflation went up, back down everywhere else I've traveled but the stores in fountain City stayed the same. Also, the selection of meat like steak is horrible. You can never find any family packages, deals, or the area just is not stocked. I got my certification for meat cutting 20 years ago and things have surely changed. Kroger please fix your meat department and lower your prices!!
Store is kinda dirty, LOTS of VERY sketchy people hanging around outside. You couldn't pay me to get out of a car in that parking lot after dark. It's called "Fort Apache" for a reason.
Usually pretty good...love their carrot cake and oatmeal cookies...but the donuts are another story. I got an apple fritter at 1 pm and wanted to throw it away after 1 bite...tasted like it was baked yesterday.
I was told by cashier, I would need to use self checkout for my overflowing cart.
I will not use self checkout! That is not customer service! I tried it once and it was so screwed up. Fifteen minutes waiting for the one person working 8 registers to help. Fix this crap! People need jobs!

You gotta eat!
I found healthy food items that are unavailable at other stores
Great bagels but very limited quantity
Why are all the middle-aged white males so rude that work here?
Evidently all the white men over 50 feel like they've been mistreated or something because they are the rudest employees in the store.
