The pho was tasteless. After having to ask for our check we still had to go inside to find someone to pay so we could leave.

We stopped here looking for Vietnamese for dinner. This is located in an old house that has that musty smell of covered damage. Parking is limited to the streets nearby. There were only 6 tables inside and even though they were pretty much empty, we were seated at one in the bar that was unstable and the size of a larger TV tray. The pho was okay but the chicken in it was clearly frozen cubed chicken with that gelatinous texture. For $18 a bowl, I expected all fresh ingredients. He got a noodle dish and only picked at it. We both felt sick the next day. The area by the bathrooms smelled of cat pee also consistent with old run down houses in the area. We went there because of the positive reviews and I rarely leave a negative one, but this ruined our day.

Food was decent, but I made the mistake of ordering a side of pork belly. It was a single small 1/4 inch thick slice from the short side, so maybe 2 inches long and 1 inch tall, about 2oz, and they charged $6 for it. The price should really be $2 or $3. Wouldn’t recommend ordering any add-ons.
Dietary restrictions: Were allergy aware, labeling for allergy and other restrictions, and able to accommodate where possible, but a fair number of things are pre-made with allergens such as peanuts and sesame
Parking: Relatively easy to walk to from downtown or the south Knoxville waterfront.
Kid-friendliness: Relatively few child friendly options, only adults in the restaurant when I went.
Wheelchair accessibility: First floor and patio are accessible, upper floor only accessible by steep stairs. Accessibility may be limited at peak times.
This is a cozy home like restaurant, vibes are as if they converted a home into a sit in restaurant. Staff service is attentive and very friendly!
However this place is as it's advertised, "Asian inspired." If you want authentic I recommend heading 20min west to West Hills and get authentic food there. I got the fried spring rolls and beef brisket pho. Everything came out "warm" instead of "fresh & hot." I could say that it's because the establishment was cold, but I don't want to make excuses.
Beef pho barely had flavor and I could tell it was made from beef and chicken stock. No amount of hoisin and hot sauce can bring flavor into it.

Excellent food, great service, and absolutely terrible music. Every time we have come recently they have been playing hideously bad covers of great music from decades past. Why? Just play the originals! Currently listening to abuse of Steely Dan. Ug.

Despite all of the hype from reddit about this place being a good spot for vegetarians stopping in town, I was disappointed by the lack of flavor and passion from the dishes I tried.
The kimchi fried rice felt like an incomplete dish. There wasn't any wow factor that made it feel special; a sauce, a cool technique, etc.
The curry tasted like a dish I would make at home but feel disappointed in how it was cooked. The flavors weren't making sense to me. Additionally, the curry was served over rice, but I would have preferred portion the rice myself. It was $18 and that felt rather expensive.
I hate waving the authentic word around, but what I had didn't feel authentic.
The staff were nice and attentive but failed to catch that we were vegetarians when we ordered the veggie options on the menu. Half my fault when I order, tbh.
I'm sure this was just a poor showing considering we showed up after lunch on a Sunday.
Vegetarian options: $5 for tofu is a steep price for some of the most inexpensive protein in the market

Seriously good cocktails. Loaded rice tots for the table—fantastic. Got the kimchi and steamed rice. Didn’t get a pic, I ate it too quickly. Highly recommend.

This is a groovy place to hang out and grab a drink and an interesting dish. I've been multiple times and I'm never disappointed. The drinks are tasty and creative and the food is even better!

The atmosphere was nice. I couldn't give 5 stars because 1.) We were there for 45 minutes, put our orders in, and saw people who had been there for 15 minutes getting appetizers and entrees. Some were the same we ordered, which is what was aggravating. This is a huge pet peeve of mine. Also, I ordered the curry dish, but I could tell the chicken wasn't seasoned at all. The whole meal felt like something was missing flavor wise. I was disappointed and was really looking forward to trying this place out. It was a 1 timer for my family.
