I could eat here every day and be a very happy person. Places like this make Knoxville a better place.

Just a heads up they’re not honest about their prices on the menu and will up charge. Server was unfriendly and messed up the whole order (I did not get what I ordered). They take a long time to give you the check (we had to ask after a while). Btw they do accept card here and the tacos are good but it isn’t worth the bad service and dishonesty.

This place is fire! It is super authentic food and it’s connected to a grocery store too. I haven’t tried anything bad here but all of their meat options are so good. They have the best pastor that I’ve had in Knoxville and a wider variety of meats than anywhere else that I’ve found. I just need to go back and try some lamb barbacoa that had sold out.

If you like good authentic Mexican food THIS PLACE is a MUST stop. It’s a small place and if you go during lunch you might be waiting for a spot. It was PACKED when we went. I could eat this every single day. The tacos were perfect. The chips and salsa were perfect !

Restaurantji Recommends
If I could give it a negative 5 I would. Place is hot and nasty, we waited a long time for the clerk to check us out and was on her phone while we waited and just saw us there and look strait to us like what are yall doing. Wouldn’t recommend it for anyone and that’s coming from a a Mexican.

Delicious, fast, authentic cuisine. I very much enjoyed the atmosphere, but if humble, hole in the wall places aren't your speed, this might not be for you. That being said, service was above an beyond. I placed a to go order in the busiest part of the afternoon. They were slammed and still got my meal to me in less than 15 minutes, all the while bringing me chips and salsa and iced water with lime that I'd not even asked for. Great treatment all around. The salsa was super fresh and delicious. The tacos pescado were SO good! Very generous with the avocado garnish. There's a cute grocery store attached that I didn't have time to puruse. I'll be sure to come back and check it out soon.
The real deal. Jukebox blaring, 98 degrees inside, packed to the gills at 1pm on a Tuesday, everybody is wearing construction attire, I am usually the only white person in the entire building (which is a fantastic sign). Best chilaquiles in town, great burritos and seafood as well. Nachos are great too, as is the chimichanga. Most authentic Mexican food in town, and this is backed up by my coworkers from Mexico, Texas, and California.
